That day grandma just invited us to my ggm 3 year anniversary dinner and left from there. I am worried because she not only invites us but also Daniel ggm doesn't even know him.

The evening had started like any other at the evening a quiet, peaceful gathering of family. The sound of clinking glasses and low conversations filled the air as Mia moved through the living room, her heart racing. As the clock struck seven, the dinner bell rang, signaling the start of the evening's meal. Mia was about to take Daniel's hand when the voice of her grandmother, broke through the hum of chatter.

Her grandmother's sharp tone sent a chill down her spine. Bella , though elderly, still carried an aura of authority that commanded attention. Mia froze, heart in her throat as bella made her way over, her footsteps deliberate, eyes narrowing at Daniel.

"Mia, can we ?" bella gaze flickered between her granddaughter and the man who had been a quiet enigma in the room.

Mia could feel the weight of her grandmother's scrutiny. She had hoped to avoid this moment, to keep her relationship with Daniel a secret for just a little longer, but it seemed fate had other plans. She swallowed, trying to steady her breath, but when she looked into Daniel's eyes, she found a strange calmness there, as if he knew this was coming.

"I know enough," bella replied, her tone thick with warning. "You think love is enough to protect you from the consequences of your actions? This man has a past. A dark one. You'll regret it, Mia. I'm telling you, you have no idea what you're getting into."

Mia's anger flared. "You don't get to decide who I love, Grandma. I'm not a child anymore. I can make my own choices."
