If you're bummed that you can't join in the fun with the art contest because art isn't your thing, love to write, OR would like to do a writing contest in addition to the art contest going on, then you're in luck! I'm pulling together a writing contest for my upcoming story, What Makes a Villain. As mentioned, the first arc is completed, but there are a TON of moving parts that I need YOUR help!
How? Why? Well, let me explain...
Foxglove's Agency is HUGE!! There are only a few of her employees that work in both the fashion and hero agency part just because of the overlap. Sakura will only work in the Hero Agency part, but where this arc starts...there's going to be some overlap. Overlap meaning there are going to be a ton of characters, action, and parts that I can't show from Sakura's POV. One major part that can't even be seen from her eyes.
What is that part? I can't say...yet, but you may be one of the lucky few to find out!

This contest will be held in 3 rounds...
Round 1: Create your Character
Round 2: Scene One.
Round 3: Insert your OC into a scene of WMaV.
I currently cannot release the details for rounds 2 & 3. Only those who have made it will be able to gain the information if they so choose to participate. This is simply because of spoiler content. I need to ensure that those given the prompt will not share it because there have been some...changes, to say the least, since the first draft that was uploaded.
Since this is going to be the LAST time I write this, I want to ensure everything is perfect, released only once with no changes, mishaps, etc. So far, things are going well, but I need to ensure that those who know of what'll happen will keep it a secret to help with the element of surprise.
Prompt: Create your Character.
Create a sidekick that would work alongside Foxglove. Foxglove is an underground hero, better known through the fashion world as she's a famous designer. Your character will only work on the hero side of the agency.
Things I will need to know about your character:
1.) Name and Alias.
2.) Age, Appearance, and Pronouns (please provide a reference picture of the OC IF possible)
3.) Quirk and Description
4.) Background: Why did they become a Pro Hero? Why did they want to work alongside Foxglove? Did they always work for Foxglove, did they come from another one, or do they plan to use this as a starting point for their own Agency?
5.) Fighting Style: Do they have any weapons they use? Are they skilled in any type of fighting or do they rely on their Quirk? Are they more brain or brawn?
6.) Interesting facts about them.
7.) Likes and Dislikes
8.) Any piece of information you think you'd need me to know about this character.
You can submit your OC to me via Discord OR through email. Use of AI to solely create a character, scene, etc will result in disqualification.
One OC per person UNLESS it's a duo that works together, but then it works as ONE entry, and both will need to be used together. Information about the character can be pulled together in a Google Doc or through Discord DM. They can pulled together in paragraphs, bullet points, or in any format you think would help organize your thoughts on this character and make it easy to read.

Criteria: I'm looking for OCs that are complex, would be a good fit in Foxglove's agency, believability, and creativity. If I see all factors, you will move onto the next round. There is no set number of who will make it, just those who's OCs appear to be a good match.
I can already tell it's going to be hard to start narrowing it down in the first round with all the creativity you all have!
Prize: Besides making it to the final round and getting a sneak peek of what is happening in What Makes a Villain, the winner will have their OC featured in a future arc. It won't be right away, but this OC will have a scene featuring them, working alongside Sakura, Foxglove, and a bunch of other lovable characters! Their name will be mentioned early on too!
First Prize winner will also have their round 3 scene featured in a bonus chapter!
Second Place winners (plural as it's everyone who made it to the final round): They will have their second round writing being featured in future bonus content with a shoutout!
Participants: A surprise consolation prize will be given.
Due Date for Round 1: June 3rd.
