Chapter 52: The Future Dictators Club (Part 2)

That day, for once, INTP wasn't tired. A rarity worth celebrating—but not extravagantly, of course. That wasn't her style. She was bored. Utterly bored, the kind of boredom that fills the mind when thoughts have nowhere to land. So, without thinking too much, she decided to head to the Analysts Club. Because after all, why not? It was the perfect place to forget boredom, especially in the company of such... interestingly odd people.

When she reached the purple door of the club—still as sophisticated and slightly too dramatic for her taste—she saw INFJ locking it. She walked up to him with a questioning look.

— INTP: Why are you locking it?

He wasn't even part of the club.

INFJ shrugged, looking mildly exasperated.

— INFJ: ENTP was supposed to lock up today, but he totally forgot. As always.

He paused, as if pondering the absurdity of the situation, then added:

— INFJ: Obviously, I’m the responsible one around here, so I have a spare key to every door in the school. You know how it is.

INTP raised an eyebrow.

— INTP: Wow. How come?

— INFJ: Carlo just couldn’t take it anymore…

— INTP (puzzled): Carlo?

— INFJ (a bit too calm): The janitor. It was too much of a burden for him. Having all the school keys, I mean.

— INTP (staring at him): Ah… And he just gave them to you?

INFJ flashed an enigmatic smile.

— INFJ: He and I have therapy sessions every Saturday. And thanks to that, I convinced the principal to give me approval. It’s a well-oiled system.

INTP shook her head—impressed, but also a bit concerned for the future of the school.

— INTP: You know, with all those keys, I’m surprised the place isn’t already burning down.

INFJ shrugged with near-perfect nonchalance.

— INFJ: Peace reigns. That’s what matters.

INTP nodded. Not because she understood, but because she was kind of impressed. Giving the school keys to INFJ? Why not? It was still better than giving them to ENFP.

They walked side by side in comfortable silence, until INTP finally broke it.

— INTP (curious): Why are we closing the club today?

— INFJ (smiling mysteriously): There’s a special section in the Future Dictators Club… It’s open to everyone, you know.

INTP raised an eyebrow.

— INTP: What are you doing there? You don’t really strike me as the dictator type.

INFJ laughed.

— INFJ: First time anyone’s said that. But really, it’s a way for me to better understand their methods. I’ve got a bad feeling about that club, so better safe than sorry.

INTP looked at him for a long moment, then shrugged.

— INTP: You’re telling me that like I care why you hang around in there.

— INFJ (amused): Because knowing you, you’ll probably forget everything I just said in a few seconds.

INTP stared at him silently for a moment before replying in a monotone:
