Chapter 1: leaky house

Lily's pov: Sat on lyndy's bed watching the rain water dripping from the ceiling
Lily: Come quickly, Lyndy. Hurry. Come on.
Lyndy: I'm coming as fast as I possibly can.
Lyndy's pov: Running as fast as I can up the stairs with the bowl. With mum coming slowly behind me. Runs in and gives the bowl to Lily.
Lyndy: Here comes another drip, Lily. Quick!
Lily's pov: Slides the bowl right underneath.
Lily: I got you now drops. I win. No more dropping on our bed.
Elliana's pov: Comes into the twins room after calling Jentzen about the leak.
Elliana: Well done, Lily!
Lily: Thanks mummy.
Elliana: OK, leave the bowl up there and come down with me.
Lily: I'm Ready?
Elliana: One, two, three...
Elliana and Lily: wey!
Elliana's pov: lifting her onto the ground.
Elliana: There we go
Lily: Thank u mummy.
Elliana: You too, Lyndy.
Lyndy's pov: Goes to her
Elliana: Lovely, one, two, three!
Lyndy: weee
Elliana pov: Puts her onto the ground.
Lyndy: Thank you.
Elliana: Now, can you two please help take off these pillow cases?
Lyndy and Lily: Of course we can.
Lyndy and Lily's pov: We both take off one each.
Lyndy: Mummy, why is there a hole in the roof?
Elliana: Well, I called Dad and he thinks that some tiles have come loose, so he's coming home to fix it.
Lily: I'll help him.
Elliana: Oh I'm sure he will like that.
Lyndy: But where am I going to sleep tonight, Mummy?
Elliana: Up here on the top bunk, as usual, Lyndy.
Lyndy: But how?
Elliana: Dad will fix the roof and I will wash and dry your sheets.
Lyndy: Oh ok.
Elliana: And little moon bunny 🐰 of course.
Elliana's pov: Hands her, her favourite teddy.
Lyndy: Little Moon Bunny!
Lyndy's pov: Cuddles it and it squeaks saying moon.
Lyndy: Little Moon Bunny's my favourite cuddly toy of all times since I was born and now he's all wet. Can you help me dry Little Moon Bunny, please, Mummy?
Elliana: Absolutely not, Lyndy. As I think we need to wash Little Moon Bunny.
Lyndy: Why?
Elliana: Because the water that comes through the roof can be dirty.
Lyndy: Oh.
Elliana: Will you help me put him in the washing machine?
Lyndy: Yes! He can have a nice ride.
Lyndy's pov: Puts him in the wash basket. And starts to run out of my room.
Lyndy: Come on Mummy.
Elliana: After you.
Lyndys pov: Puts her in the washing machine with my bedding.
Elliana: Good girl.
Elllianas's pov: Turns it on.
Elliana: It will take a while sweetie.
Lyndy: Yh I know.
Lyndy's pov: Goes back to watch the washing machine.
Lyndy: Hello little moon bunny.
Jules pov: Me and Jessica walk to Ellie's house and ring the doorbell.
Lyndy and Elliana's pov: We hear the doorbell ring.
Elliana: Ooh, Lyndy, shall we get the door?
Lyndy: I'm staying here with Little Moon Bunny.
Elliana: Ok sweetie
Elliana's pov: Goes to open the door.
Elliana: Hiya!
Jules: Hello Ellie!
Elliana: How are you?
Jules: I'm good. Thanks for looking after Jessica for me while I go get my hair done and some work done.
Elliana: Anytime.
Lily: Is it Dad at the door?
Elliana: Come on in! No, not yet lil, it's Jessica .
Jessica: Hello, Lily!
Lily: Hey, Jessica. Come on up and see the rain that's coming in!
Jessica: Okay.
Jessica pov: Starts to walk upstairs.
Jules: Bye, lovely.
Jessica: Bye mummy. Thank you so much again.
Elliana: Anytime bestie.
Jessica: Where are you Lily?
Lily: I'm up here on the top bunk!
Jessica pov: comes in and climbs up onto the bed.
Jessica: Hi Lily
Lily: Hi Jessica.
Jessica: Wow, is that rain coming through your ceiling?
Lily: Yeah. I'm catching the raindrops, so Lyndy's bunk bed doesn't get any wetter.
Jessica: Here comes another one!
Lily: I'm ready for it!
Lily's Pov: We both watch it go into the bowel.
Lily: Got you!
Jessica: Sooo, Where's Lyndy?
Lily: She's downstairs. Little Moon Bunny is in the washing machine.
Jessica: Why?
Lily: He got rained on, and now he's wet.
Jessica: Oh no. That's not good. I'll go and see her to see if she's alright.
Lily: Okay.
Jessica's pov: Goes to find Lyndy and sits next to her.
Jessica: Hi Lyndy.
Lyndy: Hi Jessica.
Jessica: Is Little Moon Bunny OK?
Lyndy: I hope so! I miss cuddling him.
Jessica: I bet you do.
Lyndy's pov: The washing machine beeps and stops.
Lyndy: Mummy!
Elliana: Yes sweetie?
Lyndy: The washing machine's finished! Please can we get Little Moon Bunny out?
Elliana's pov: comes into the room.
Elliana: Yes ofc I can.
Lyndy: Quickly.
Elliana's pov: Open the washing machine and grabs out her teddy.
Elliana: Oh, poor soggy Little Moon Bunny!
Lyndy: He looks all funny.
Jessica: Yeah, but he smells nice and clean, Lyndy, though.
Lyndy: Yes, he really does. Come on, Jessica. Let's put Little Moon Bunny on the window sill to dry.
Jessica: Okay!
Lyndy's and Jessica's pov: we both run into the living room on the sofa.
Lyndy: Let's put him here, Jessica.
Lyndy's and Jessica's pov: We spread out little moon bunny just in time as we waved at my dad.
Lyndy: It's dad outside. He's here.
Jentzen pov: Comes inside from work.
Jentzen: Hello, gang!
Lyndy: Hi daddy.
Jessica: Hi.
Jentzen: What a lot of...RAIN!
Jentzen's pov: Picks them up and shakes them and puts them down on the sofa.
Jentzen: Where's this leak, then?
Lily: Hi, Dad! Come upstairs and I'll show you!
Jentzen: Coming, Lily!
Jentzen's pov: Heads upstairs to the twins room.
Lily: Look, rainwater is dripping into this bowl. I put it there myself.
Jentzen: Ah! Well done, Lily!
Jentzen pov: Goes over to the window.
Jentzen: Now, let's have a look out here.
Lily: Can you see it, Dad? Can you see the hole in our roof?
Jentzen: I can't see anything.
Lily: Why?
Jentzen: Because I need to go high up to the roof from outside. I think we need a long ladder.
Lily: But we don't have a long ladder
Jentzen: No, but we know a man who does.
Jentzen's pov: Calls Hayden. As Hayden is a firefighter for Hatcham fire station here in la. So I go down to meet him outside with Jessica and Lyndy.
Hayden's pov: comes over as soon as possible with my ladder.
Hayden: Hi everyone.
Jentzen: Look, it's Hayden and his long ladder! hey bro.
Lyndy: Hi and that's a really long ladder.
Jessica: Hi, Daddy!
Hayden: Hi my lil pumpkin
Hayden's pov: Gives her a hug while holding the ladder.
Jentzen: The rain's stopped at last, everybody.
Everybody: Yay!
Lyndy: Hayden?
Hayden: Yeah?
Lyndy: We've got a hole in our roof, and water's dripping through it. Little Moon Bunny got rained on in our bedroom!
Hayden: It's just as well I came round to help.
Lyndy: I agree.
Lyndy's pov: Daddy and Hayden put his long ladder up and it reaches right up to the roof of our house. But the bad news is that now it's raining again.
Jentzen's pov: Climbs up the ladder and knocks on the window where Lily is.
Jentzen: Hello, in there!
Lily: Hi daddy.
Jentzen: Keep an eye on those drips, Lily and please tell me if they stop, please.
Lily: Okay daddy. There still dripping daddy *shouting*
Jentzen: Okay. Good news - I can see the tile that's slipped.
Lily's Pov: shouting down to Hayden.
Lily: Daddy can see the tile that's slipped, Hayden!
Hayden: Can he fix it?
Lily: Can you fix it, Daddy?
Jentzen: I don't know. I'm just trying to reach it.
Lily: Still dripping, Daddy.
Jentzen: OK. Just a minute.
Jentzen pov: Hammering in the nail.
Lily: This is taking ages! Have you fixed it now, Dad?
Jentzen's Pov: Comes down the ladder slightly.
Jentzen: Yep. All done. The tile had just slipped down a bit. I put it back into place with a nail.
Lily: Look, Daddy! The drips are stopping.
Jentzen: Hooray!
Lily: Hooray! We fixed it, Hayden.
Hayden and Jessica: Hooray!
Elliana's pov: Meanwhile Lyndy is cuddling her teddy and I go upstairs.
Elliana: Did I hear a cheer?
Lily: Yes. We fixed the roof, Mummy.
Elliana: Yay, well done, Lily! Thank you for all of your help.
Lily: How's Little Moon Bunny, Mummy?
Elliana: He's lovely and dry and cuddling with Lyndy.
Lily: That's good.
Elliana's Pov: After this busy day I went to go and make us all some dinner while the bed is drying out. By the twins' bedtime, Little Moon Bunny and the bunk bed were all dry and everything was back to normal well so we thought.
Jentzen: It's still raining outside.
Elliana: Oh, I know, what a day!
Elliana's pov: We both put Lyndy to bed.
Elliana: But you and Little Moon Bunny are warm and dry and cuddly.
Elliana's pov: But then...
Lily: Mummy, Daddy!
Elliana and Jentzen: Yes Lily.
Lily: Now there's rain coming through our bathroom ceiling!
Jentzen: Oh, no. There must be another hole in our roof!
Jentzen's pov: Goes to the bathroom.
Lyndy: I know what we all should do. We all need to move to a different house.
Elliana: What did you say, Lyndy?
Lyndy: Oh nothing
Lily's and lyndy's pov: And that's when Mummy said...
Elliana: Would you like to move from this house to a different house, Lyndy and Lily?
Lyndy: No. I didn't really mean it about a different house, Mummy.
Lily: No! This is our house.
Elliana: Well, it's something to think about.
Lyndy: I love our house.
Lily: Me too.
Jentzen: So, let's have a proper look at this bathroom drip! From the roof.
Jentzen's pov: Goes and fixes it.
Lyndy and Lily's pov: And that, said Dad, was that.

Elliana's pov: As you can see me and jentzen are now happily married despite my parents authorisation to move out. But we did so we can focus on our twins as the family home was very crowded. But all in all we are all good. I'm still besties with Sophia and Jules, I do see them but not as much as our lovers are crazy but when I do it's like no time has passed at all. Jentzen is still friends with Hayden and Johnny. Jentzen owns his own company and life for us is crazy but never been better.
