Chapter 37

I decided to make an appointment with my doctor. I wanted to confirm my pregnancy before Niall and I could actually reveal the news to our family.

Hope was staying with Maura and Bobby while Niall and I came to the doctors office.

"NeeNee Horan," the nurse called out my name.

Niall and I walked hand in hand over to the nurse as she walked us over to our room.

"Dr. Rigo will be with you guys shortly," she smiled.

"Thank you," I replied.

I had a worried expression. What if the same thing that happened with my first baby happens again? What if I'm not pregnant? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

"NeeNee, I can see the expression on your face. Everything will be fine. No matter what happens, I will always love you and support you," Niall said.

As I was about to speak, I got interrupted as the doctor knocked on our door and walked in.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Horan!" Dr. Rigo said. "Nice to see you again."

"Hi Dr. Rigo. I'm here today because I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive but I wanted to confirm if I was pregnant. Do you think you guys can take a test?" I asked.

"Of course!" He replied.

The nurse came back and took a few blood samples from me. I felt a bit more nervous than when I first found out I was pregnant with Hope.

About an hour went by. Then finally Dr. Rigo came back with the results.

"Okay Mrs. Horan. I took the tests and it turns out that you are indeed pregnant!"

My heart began to race. A huge smile was on my face. I couldn't believe it. So this is actually happening? I'm pregnant?

"This is so amazing!" Niall said.

"Would you guys like to see an ultra sound?" Dr. Rigo asked.

"Yes please," I answered.

I laid on the bed as I lifted up my shirt. Dr. Rigo filled my stomach with gel. It was so cold. But I managed to go with it.

As the lights turned off, I held onto Niall's hand. A little figure that looked like a peanut popped up onto the screen.

"Here is your soon to be baby," Dr. Rigo said.

I felt tears in my eyes. I looked over to Niall who looked as if he were about to cry. I grasped onto his hand tighter.

"It looks like a little peanut," I giggled.

"That's our future baby," Niall said.

I still couldn't believe it. Niall and I were going to become parents once again. Me and him were about to have another little human being running around the house. A little person that we made together. This is so exciting.

After we got finished with the ultra sound, Niall and I decided to go out for lunch. We didn't get a pic of the ultra sound. I think I want to wait until maybe I'm about 2 months along.

We came to an Italian restaurant. I loved Italian food. It's probably my favorite. As we ordered our drinks, Niall and I had to talk about what we are going to be expecting with the new baby.

"So how do you think Hope will be when the baby comes?" I asked Niall.

"I think she is going to be in love with her new sibling. I mean, she's the one that is most excited," he answered.
