Dear Troye,

It's been 53 years,  174 days, 21 hours and 1 minute since you passed. I keep track.

I miss you, but I am happy to say that I am happy again. I am 83 years old, a wrinkled old man. I have one child,  three beautiful grandchildren, and one grand grand child, but don't worry the second one is on their way. On the 21th of February 2017 I married the love of my life and on the 15th of August 2026 I married again. His name is Robin Loswell.

My son is the CEO and founder of the Jack Project, a leading, worldwide organisation that prevents suicide under students and teachers. My daughter in law is a humanrights activist. They had a twin, Eliza and Joseph. Eliza is a beautiful, young mother who studied social studies at Harvard and is now head social media communication at a bussiness called ETHIO. I have no idea what they are doing there, I am just a simple old man, but I think it has something to do flying cars... or time travelling. I don't remember. Joseph became a pediatrician, saving lifes of our innocent children. And Chase, their youngest son is a famous singer. Joseph and his wife Abby got a lovely baby girl, they called her Rose.

This is your legacy. A small world filled with passionate people, always ready to fight the world. And now, when it's finally time for me to join you, I am the most happy that I've ever been. There is a picture hanging on my wall, a picture of us, our happy, little family.

My life has been a rollercoaster. A long climb, ups and downs. A cliche love story. But, I'd like to think that love can't be anything but cliche. Because love is an universal feeling, shared by many. Somehow, love is felt the same, wherever we live and whomever we are.

When Joseph got married he said something that always sticked to me.

"Love is the only fairytale that ends with: once upon a time"

So, once upon a time in a very homophobic, racist country not too far away lived a purple-haired boy who fell in love with the hazelbrown eyed boy he found on youtube, and their story begins on a bridge in Italy...

Remember today, as it is the beginning of always

A/N

... So... This is the end... I really hope you enjoyed reading this story.  Your heartwarming comments made me blush and motivated me to open my laptop once again to write a chapter. It wasn't really meant to be so sad, but yeah... It happens... I would really appreciate it if you would leave a comment, or a fave, or share, of give me a cuddle or something. I'd like to thank my father, my grandmother and my friends who have all read this story and loaded me with compliments and love. And ofcourse all my readers, without you I would have stopped writing this story way to early.

Just this one time I want to ask you all to share this story, to leave a comment, to vote, to love, to do a handstand, to kiss the one you love and to say I love you to the moon... Am I bringing this to far??

Anyways, follow me on tumblr and slide into my ask if you'd like ;) my username is Missjawl

PS: I kinda based this story on a song called "I don't want to love somebody else" by a great big world. Go listen to it peeps
