Chapter 39 I have mixed feelings for you

I was in my dorm room on a Tuesday evening after soccer practice. Getting ready for a out going with Lucas. Cain was in the dorm and I told him that I will be going out tonight with someone. Didn't give names. I told him not too worry about me and living with my abusive uncle.

"Why is that?" Cain asked, his head in a novel he was reading. Which was actually my book that he asked if he could read.

"I don't live there anymore."

"Do you have another place to stay on the weekend?"

"I'm staying at Lucas' Mansion," I saw his face turn into surprise, "hey it's better then living in my uncle's Mansion," I don't know why I call him like that still.

"Well Alex did tell me something."

"Yeah and that is?"

"Your into Lucas and that you went camping with him. We tell eachother everything Dylan."

I sat on my bed fully fancied up. I don't know how to dress for a date with a guy but this is the best I can do, "I don't know? I found out that I have mixed feelings for him."

Cain gasps, "Are you going to tell him? I mean he isn't straight I found out."

"From who?"

"Dylan. I'm in love with a guy who is gay I notice these things."

"Alex told you huh?"

"Nope that thinking was all me."

"Well I guess it's ok then to tell you this...he and I are going out tonight."

"As in a date?"

"You can say that. Yeah."

"Wow that's big of him to do that."

I nod, looking at my watch, "Well got to go soon," I got up and went over to my dresser and sprayed cologne on. I sniffed my scent and was pleased how good I smell. I took out my brush and went over to the dorm mirror. Looking at my reflection I start brushing.

"Well I'm glad you are out of your uncles place at least."

I look over at Cain in the mirror, "Me too."

Lucas parked his BMW infront of Pizza Hut. I blushed when he got the door for me. I blushed more when he offered his hand to take. My face was right now full red now I bet luckily it was night and it is harder to see my face at night then day light. I took his hand and he geared me out of his car. He let go before we got to the entrance. Good thought he would walk me in like that. Inside the restaurant was packed. "2 please?" he says to the waiter who greeted us. We followed him to a table of two benches. I sat on the right bench and Lucas sat on the left bench. I look at the menu of pizza choices.

"I'm treating you tonight," he says with a smile.

I look up from the menu and blush. The lighting of this place is bright enough to see my full exposed cheeks. I nod and look back at the menu. I looked at the pizza slices section. The olive pizza slice with cheese sounds good to me. I look over at Lucas who was looking at his glass of water. Wonder what he is thinking about? 'Me?' it would be a bit creepy if he was. If he was hopefully he isn't thinking about anything pervertive about me. I will kick his ass if he starts talking pervertly to me.

Lucas looks over at me which made him see me starring at him. 'Shit what's wrong with me?' "Have you decided yet on what you like to get?"

I nod and look at the menu, "Number 9."

"Cool I decided on number 11," I nod not caring really on what he is going to get.

I thought of my mixed feelings for him while looking at the table. He is annoying but now I don't think about his annoying habits about annoying me. Which is bothering me now that I think about it more of... like what? Then again this is a date but it doesn't mean we're dating. Will he ask me out though? If he does what will my answer be? Will I be ready for something like this that's something else I have to think about. Then...while looking at Lucas something opened up inside of me. My dreams are a bit more cheerful now. I wonder if it's because of him. Something is happening inside of me and I can't understand it. I need to talk to somebody. The school councilor...tomorrow. Lucas was looking at his phone. I remember what the school councilor said about getting to know him more. He knows alot about me now. He owes me, "So...what to talk about?"
