Aakriti woke up with a terrible headache.
She groggily rubbed her eyes in order to get rid of the sleepiness she was experiencing. Throwing the heavy duvet off herself, she sat straight on the bed and slowly opened her eyes.
The sight in front of her forced her to blink twice.
Aarush was standing in the corner of a room but not just standing there, he had his back faced towards the bed and was shirtless. He was wearing a pair of dark washed jeans with his hair damp, like he had just taken a shower.
Besharmon ki tarha ghoorna bandh kar, Aakriti.
Stop starring so shamelessly, Aakriti.
She heard her conscious chastise her but she didn't pay any heed it to it.
Aarush pulled a black shirt on and buttoned a couple of buttons before stopping in his actions and unbuttoned it. He took the shirt off and pulled a white one from the couch. He wore the new shirt and did the buttons before grasping his towel and fluffing his damp hair with it.
Aakriti watched his every step with concentration. Her eyes raked his bare back with a mixture of adoration and lust. It seemed like his actions were all playing in slow motion before her eyes. As if Aarush was putting on a show solely for her eyes.
She realised where she was. She remembered drinking yesterday and after a groggy image of dancing with Aarush she doesn't recall much. He must've carried her to his room since she passed out.
A small grateful smile graced her lips as she realised how he took care of her and with the realisation, she fell for him a bit more.
After giving him one last look, Aakiti pretended to have just woken up from her sleep and mustering a fake groggy voice she called out for him.
"Aarush?" Upon hearing her voice, Aarush turned around to see her sitting on the bed with crossed legs.
"Good morning, madam. Uth gayin aap?" Aarush discarded the towel and walking towards the small pantry kitchen in the room.
You're up?
"Hmm. Lagta hai saalon baad so kar uthi hu." She complained as she undid her hair.
Seems like I've woken up from years of sleep.
Aarush who was boiling some water in a kettle to make coffee for them turned around to see the sight of her sitting on his bed, playing with her bed hair. Although 'bed hair' might be the wrong word to describe her.
She looked ever so flawless as she tried to pull her hair in a side braid. A few strands on her hair escaped her braid and were now framing her face. Aarush fisted his hand to control his urge to tuck them behind her ear.
