The sandstone walls of Chittor Fort glow like burning gold in the rising sun. The air hums with the rhythm of nagara drums, the smell of rosewater heavy around the palace courtyards. A wedding procession winds through the gates, warriors in crimson turbans, elephants draped in brocade, and banners bearing the falcon sigil of Marwar fluttering in the desert wind.

Rajkumari Aaryavika Solanki, Princess of Chittor; grace woven with resolve. Aaryavika was raised not in silken chambers, but amidst scrolls, maps, and the clatter of swords. Daughter of a scholarly king and a warrior queen, she was tutored in philosophy and statecraft with the same fervor as archery and diplomacy.

Her beauty is the kind that unnerves; serene but unapproachable, like the marble goddesses carved into palace walls. Yet beneath that poise lies a keen intelligence, sharpened by years of being underestimated in a court of men. To her people, she is Rajputana's pride, the princess who carries both intellect and defiance in her gaze. But to herself, she is a woman reluctant to surrender her freedom to a man rumored to treat wives as ornaments.

She walks toward her marriage not with dreams, but with resolve, ready to guard her kingdom's honour, even if it means guarding her heart.

"Baisa, dekhiye na baarat padhar rahi hai." Aaryavika's lady-in-waiting asked her as she starred the wedding procession from one of the windows in Aaryavika's castle.

Ma'am, come have a look. The wedding procession's here.

She stands in front of the grand mirror in her room, clad in a royal lehenga, woven in deep maroon and gold, mirrors the colors of a sunset before a storm, looking no less than the queen she was going to be in the matter of few hours.

"Kya khoob sajegi aap dono ki jodi." Her lady-in-waiting, Meera who also happened to be her best friend remarked.

What a wonderful couple would you two make.

Aaryavika hmmed as her kohl-lined eyes seemed distant. Numerous doubts and questions swirled her head.

How will the king behave with her?
Will he respect her?
Will he be loyal?
Will she be happy with her?
Will they ever find love?
Will this alliance forever be just a political alliance?

Jo shaks rajya fateh karna jante hai woh apni patni ko agar fateh nahi karenge toh aur kya? She thought to herself.

A man who knows how to conquer kingdoms, what will he do with a wife but claim her too?

Rana Rudradev Rathore, King of Marwar, a man both feared and admired. Born beneath the desert sun of Mewar, Rudradev carries a quiet authority of one who has never known defeat. His presence commands a room before his voice does. Broad shoulders, sun browned, with the sharp, hawk-like eyes of a born strategist.
