Chapter 8-

"Kay now fall back on your right and bounce forward on your left like this, after I push you off got it?" I'm currently in dance rehearsals with Devin. I'm teaching him the duet before I let him hear the music but the music I've chosen fits our dance perfectly. Our song is kiss it bye bye, by Alessia ft big Sean and our story of the dance is a boyfriend and girlfriend thing. The girlfriend is trying so hard to push him off and get him out of her way but he just keeps coming back so it's a really fun concept and can't wait to dance it with him.

"So like this right?" He asked doing the move I instructed him todo.

"Yes perfect" I said clapping. He's learning the dance really fast and isn't too bad for a beginner, also considering how hard I've made this and how hard I'm pushing him to do this also!!

"Do you want to call it day?" I asked him, we've already worked through half of the dance and he's got it memorized. Wow never seen a guy work so hard for something that he wants, well except my brother and the guys but that's because they are already performers.

"Actually I'd like to finish it today, right now" he said panting.

"Really? You sure you can handle it" I teased.

"Oh are you calling me like a scaredy cat?" he asked getting closer my way.

"Mayy-bee" I winked innocently.

"Oh that's it I'm comin to get ya" he laughed and started chasing me in a circle. Considering how immature this is I'm having fun going around and around and around. It's almost the same as when I play fight with T.C except this is a lot more safe.

"Stop" I complained.

"Take back what you said" he whined.

"Hmmmm nuh uh" I laughed.

"Ooowwww, yah that hurts a lot" I said now on the ground I tripped over my own foot.

"Oh Valerie you ok?" Devin said bending down next to me.

"Yah it just hurts, but I'll live don't worry about it" I said shrugging it off.

"You sure cause you're bleeding, and quite a lot too" he said pointing to the cut along my knee.

"Ohhhhh I'll just take care of that" I commented.

"No no let me help you it's partly my fault you fell" he winked making me blush with a slightly large smile on my face.

He unzipped his bag and pulled out a first aid kit looks like he's more prepared than I am ha.

He sat down next me and gently wiped over my cut with a wipe, before placing a bandaid over it. He's sweet no guy my age I know would do this for me.

So he's my age, he's cute, he's sweet, he can sing he's learning how to dance he can't be anymore perfect.

"Thanks! Still want to continue?" I asked him.

"Only if you're okay to keep going" he said.

"Well I'm fine so lets go" I said as he pulled me up off the ground.

Devin's P.O.V

"Okay so this is the song, you know it?" Val asked me playing the song that our dance went with.

"Yah I've heard it" I answered her.

"Okay so I'm going to teach you the last part of the dance with the music, and then we'll put ALL of it together and there done" she said clapping her hands together once.

"Okay sounds good but, what's the point of working on this dance if we're just gonna stop and learn a new one?" I asked I was confused no one is gonna see it so what's the point really?

"It's just to see how good you would be with others dancing and the next one is how well you can do on your own. Plus we're gonna have an audience for one day" she winked.

"An audience? Really?" I asked.

"Yup just a simply audience of one" she replied.

"Kay lets start again!" She said as she got into first position.

"Ok and now I'm gonna jump in your arms and your gonna have to hold me up high okay?" Val asked jumping into me.

I did as instructed and held her up high.

"Okay keep me in place. Still, still, still. Okay now really slowly let me down!" She instructed again.

I obeyed and let her down as slowly as I could. As soon as I set her down she ran to the CD player, and turned the music off.

"Ok so for this very next part just so you're not weirded out, we're gonna have some very close dancing cause it's the part of the dance story. So that means as close to grinding I hope that's not to awkward" she said looking worried.

I'm worried I mean grinding oh my god. I've actually been thinking Valerie is a lot more attractive then I first played out I mean look at her. She's fit, beautiful, incredibly sweet, and a great dancer, how much more perfect can she get? She can't!

"Um yah that's fine" I said with my voice cracking, I was to nervous I actually really like her. I just really hope she feels the same.

I mean she posted some of those crazy pics we took at the restaurant early in the week on instagram. One with our tongues out, one of us with the duck face, huge smiles all those.

"Ok good so we can just finish that up now, and than ill call our audience of one to come in tomorrow to see the dance" she said winking.

Valerie's P.O.V

"Okay so pull me in, and our ending pose is exactly like this" I told Devin finally finishing the dance.

Our end pose had our foreheads together with me right hand around his neck and my left by my side. His left supporting me from behind holding my waist. Than just us starring in to each others eyes.

His eyes are such a gorgeous shade of blue, man he's cute I actually really like him. Hopefully he likes me just as much, and that concert I'll ask him tomorrow after we dance for Brianna. Yup that's right Brianna I decided to bring her in to observe how good Devin is since I've been instructing him.

"Perfect" he said even though I should've been the one saying so, since he'd done it well perfect.

"Yah perfect" I finally said and decided that it was also time to break from our last position.

"Um bye" I said uneasy heading to the showers instead if walking straight out this time.

"Uh bye" he said back and finally I was out of sight and smitten with a guy that I just met.
