Skyler's P.O.V

I opened the door and was surprised by my sister, her boyfriend, someone I think is Valerie's brother and... Wow. Valerie was right, it happened just like that. Even before I've learned his name.

"Sky? You good?" Bri asked me snapping me out of my trance.

"Um yeah Bri what's wrong and who are these people?" I asked her.

"Oh nothing's wrong we were just out all night looking for Valerie and Devin than we got hungry. You're close enough so I suggested we come here for a bite and here we are. Oh and also this is Blake, my boyfriend as you know" my sister started.

"Sup Skyler" he said.

"Hey Blake" I said back.

"This is Valerie's brother Jayk... And her best friend T.C" she said and gestured to... Him. The guy it happened with just like that!

"Welcome" I said embarrassed that I'm dressed in my pajamas still.

"So are you gonna let us in?" Bri asked.

"Ummm" I thought trying to think of what to do.

"Ummm yes? No?" Blake asked.

"Ummm yes... Just one sec" I said and shut the door.

"Valerie, your brothers here!" I told her.

"DEVIN!" I called him down.

"I knew it was him!" She complained.

"Val, he doesn't know you're here though. He came with Bri to eat... Oh and there is this really cute guy there too Val. You were so right, it's first sight" I gushed the last part.

"What am I gonna do?"she asked.

"Wait a second. T.C? Your in love at first site with my best friend?" She asked.

"Yup" I said simply.

"Kay whatever, what am I gonna do?" She asked again.

"Go home?" I suggested.

"Okay" she sighed and Devin finally came down.

"Huuuuhhhhh, what's going on?" He asked yawning.

"Jayk's here" Val told him.

"What should we do?" He asked worried.

"Nothing, we can't do anything any more" Val said giving up.

"Should I let him in?" I asked.

Devin went to sit next to her. They looked at each other than to me. Val nodded yes.

"Okay, good luck!" I said.

I opened the door wide.

"Sorry guys. I had to clean up a tiny mess, come in" I told them.

Everyone stepped in, and pulled their shoes off thanking me to let then come in.

"Okay so the kitchen is too my right, Valerie and Devin are sitting on the couch in my living room to my left" I rushed my words.

"What?" Jayk said and pushed past me and to my left.

Jayk's P.O.V

"Valerie!" I shouted. I was so happy to finally find my sister. I was also so pissed at her for running away.

"Valerie listen okay? I'm not gonna yell at you though it was very child like of you to run away" I told her.

"Jayk, I'm not a child anymore okay. I'm a big girl now, I don't wear diapers anymore, I can tie my own shoes, I can even cook when you can't. I can take care of myself. I'll always need you there right beside me, holding my hand through everything. But you don't need to carry me. I love Devin, more than anything and anyone, like except for you and I need you to accept that" she explained. I know she's not so little anymore but I can't see her grown up every time I look at her she's still that little 7 year old that played hide and seek in the back yard everyday.
