One last time

Chapter 10-

"And then jump up! And then do this" I instructed Devin, we were practicing the solo dance together before Brianna shows up to judge again.!

This time Devin is dancing to Mirrors by Justin Timberlake and the choreography I gave him was just a little harder then last time but he's doing just as good. I can't wait for Sunday, his call back audition I'm sure he'll make it!

But I'm mostly exited for tonight were going to the concert together, I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing it's gonna be tonight. A knocking and then entering from Brianna snapped me outta my thoughts.

"Hey are we ready?" She asked me.

"Ask that cutie over there" I whispered and she laughed.

"Devin are you ready?" Brianna called out.

"Yah I'm ready" he said.

Brianna went to put in the cd and Devin came over to talk to me.

Devin's P.O.V

I walked over to Val to talk a bit while Brianna was putting in the music. I'm thinking tonight will be the night that I have to make a move or even just after brianna leaves if I don't soon I never will, and then I will never know if she likes me!.

"So, exited for the concert?" I asked her.

"Yah I can't wait to watch them play and meet them and with you it'll be even better" she blushed.

Wow I was hoping for that kind of reaction, oh no now I'm blushing.

"Devin you ready I'm about to start the music!" Brianna called out from the stereo, on the other side of the room.

"Um yah one sec" I called back.

"Go on Devin!" Val encouraged.

Straight away I went into place and my music started playing and I started dancing!

Valerie's P.O.V

I clapped for Devin as the music stopped, he did great I'm actually so proud.

He came and sat next to me with his water bottle and Brianna got up to turn off the radio.

Brianna said Devin did great even better than the last time and than just left like the same as she did before.

Me and Devin just talked for a good half hour before deciding to leave.

I picked up my dance bag and walked towards the door.

"Valerie wait!" Devin said.

"Why what's up?" I asked him.

Devin's P.O.V

"Can we do our duet dance one last time?" I asked her, I have a little plan in mind.

"Why?" She asked walking closer to me.

"I don't know I just want to dance it, one last time" I replied.

"Okay why not" she agreed.

I cheered very silently as I slipped the CD in and got in to position.

We are now in last position and I'm about to make my move.

"Devin you can let go" she smiled.

I was holding her tightly, and nervously leaned in!!

Valerie's P.O.V

Devin didn't let go as I expected him to but instead placed his lips gently onto mine kissing me, waiting for me to kiss him back.

I moved both of my arms to around his neck as I kissed back, and he cupped my face with his hands still kissing me.

We slowly broke away his hands still holding my face "finally" we whispered in unison, and laughed it off.

I'm glad he finally made a move now I know he likes me back, and it doesn't have to be too awkward anymore.!!
