Chapter 43.

Devin and I pulled away as soon as my brother screamed.

"Jayk don" I tried.

"SHUT UP VALERIE!" He screamed.

"Jayk I am so sor" Devin started but
Jayk cut him off.

"GET THE FUCK OUT, GET OUT!!!"
Jayk screamed at him. Before Devin even stood up Jayk had grabbed him and threw him out literally.

"VALERIE LYDIA PURDY how dare you disobey me... How long has this been going on?" He asked.

"Forever" I admitted. Might as well just tell him right I can't get into anymore trouble than this right?!

"Oh my god Valerie how could you do this to me? I trusted you guys. You're nothing but a little kid, you are too young for this!" He said.

"But Jayk I" I started to tear up I hated it when he yelled at me and more when he called me a little kid.

"That's enough Valerie get to your room now!" He demanded.

"Shut up Jayk okay. I LOVE HIM and he loves me. I am not a little kid anymore just last week I sent you to the drug store to get me..."

"Please don't finish that sentence" drew interrupted.

"You're too young to know love Valerie" he said.

"NO IM NOT, I LOVE DEVIN. Haven't you ever loved someone before Jayk?!" I asked crying and he just glared at me.

"Valerie that's enough okay" he said.

"No!" I said grabbing his wrist so he would turn and face me but instead, he turned around and hit me.

"Oh Valerie I didn't mean" he started but I stopped him.

"I HATE YOU!" I screamed at him and ran up the stairs crying. I have never said I hate you to my brother before but he deserves it. Hasn't he ever felt love before? Doesn't he know how amazing it can make you feel. How beautiful it is.

I ran up to my bedroom and slammed the door than locked it.

"Ugh" I screamed kicking the wall. I sat on my bed cleaning my tears away with my bed sheet. Than Devin came back to mind and I looked to the window Devin was walking down the street looking confused.

I grabbed the rope ladder and threw it out the window....

"Devin" I said grabbing him out of breath from running down the street to him.

I'm not staying here! I'm not a little kid I can take care of myself and I will go nowhere with out the love of my life!
"Valerie?" He asked.

"I jumped out the window. I don't care what anybody says no matter who they are I'm not leaving you" I told him.
"I love you" he said.

"I love you too" I said and kissed him.
"Now c'mon" I said pulling away, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the trails.

"Woah where we going?" He asked.
"Away!" I told him and kept running!

T.C's P.O.V

Wow I know. Seeing how Val just screamed her love for Devin right in front of her brother made me realize what love really is. The look in her eyes whenever she heard his name or saw his face. That was a look I have never made her. What was I thinking? I'm not in love with her. But I do love her! And Jayk needs to remember about his first love or he will never get it!

"Fuck" Jayk cursed punching the wall and actually making a dent. I don't think I've ever seen him cry before. And he just hit Valerie! That must kill him right now accident or not.

"Jayk?" I questioned cautiously.

"Leave me alone" he said while he sat at the counter with his face in his hands.

"No, I need to talk to you!" I told him.
"T.C if u no what's good for you you'll leave me alone" he said and everyone else left.

"Jayk you gotta listen to me okay. Don't you remember when you were first in love?" I asked him.

"T.C please" he begged but I had to go on it's the only way he'll understand.

"Dani! Daniella Main. You 2 we're inseparable, it was clear you guys loved each other soo much! The way you loved Dani is the way Devin loves your sister, and the way Dani loved you is the way Valerie loves Devin. What happened in your love story wasn't fair, I know that. But I also know you wouldn't want anything like that to happen to your sister and it might never happen. But you don't want her to be like you ether, no longer knowing what love feels like, being with someone new every night. Don't take offense man but that's how it is, and we all know that. Don't you want her to be happy? Devin makes her happy the way they love each other is real, they make each other happy, I've have never seen her happier before she met Devin. Plus we kinda need him" I finally finished.

He needed to remember but the good not the bad, him and dani were madly in love lord rest her soul. After losing dani it made him go heart broken but he can't leave others heart broken too. Just cause his love story ended too soon, he can't cut others so short.

"T.C I hate you so much right now. I know your right though. I'll always love dani and if they genuinely feel the way dani I felt about each other than fine. But she's still my little sister I don't want her getting hurt. I love her" he said whipping his face with the sleeve of his shirt.

"She's a big girl now Jayk, she can take care of herself. We all learn from our mistakes. And Devin's a good kid he would never hurt your sister" I told him.

"Thanks T.C" he said hugging me. He hasn't been like this since her and it'll be nice to have him back.

"Now go talk to her, I'm sure you have a lot to say" I told him. He ran towards the stairs.

"And Jayk?" I stopped him.

"Yeah?" He questioned.

"No one is ever to young to love" I reminded him. He ran up the stairs.

Jayk's P.O.V

"Valerie?" I asked knocking on her door lightly. No answer she didn't even speak, and of course the door is locked.

"Listen Valerie, I need to talk to you okay. I'm sorry for hitting you, I didn't mean too. I'm sorry for everything, let me in and let me explain" I said. Still no answer she was dead silent maybe she fell asleep. I knocked on the door loudly.

"Valerie! Let me in c'mon Val we need to talk I promise you won't be mad" I said. Still nothing.

"Alright that's it, I'm gonna break this door down!" I warned still nothing. What the hell.

I started picking at the lock with some bobby pins I found in Valerie's bathroom. After 5 minutes I finally got it.

I opened the door and Valerie was gone. Her phone was on her bed and the window was open with a rope ladder handing out of it.

"Shit!" I cursed.

"T.C, she's gone lets go, get in the car!" I yelled. I need to find her, I can't lose her she's the most important person in my life, plus mom and dad would be pissed.!
