Chapter 36-

"So I got the kit kats, fuzzy peaches, Pepsis and most importantly two bags (so we won't fight over them) of Mrs Vickie's salt and vinegar chips" I told Bri, we're having a girls night tonight and our girls nights are always the best.

"Huhhh you are the best" she said grabbing one of the bags and holding it to her chest.

"So tell me, what's up with skyler this week" I told Bri. Skyler is a model and is never home but lately she's been coming home more often and I wanna know whats up. Like maybe shes pregnant or something.

"Okay, well" Bri started taking a sip of her Pepsi.

"She's actually just finishing off her modeling career even though it hasn't been that long. She's been going to school she wants to be a stylist, with hair, make up, clothes, even for men she wouldn't mind" Bri explained.

"Oh that's so cool, she has always had a thing for that remember when you asked her to do my hair and make up for grad in elementary school" I told her.

"Man it's raining really hard out there" Bri commented looking out the window.

"Yeah it's so weird it never rains this much. Ok on a another topic what movie do you wanna watch?" I asked scattering her movies all over the floor. She kneeled down and looked through the movies with me.

"Oh my god Bri can we watch this please, it's been ages!" I complained.

"Um of course we use to watch this a lot awww put it in" Bri told me. The movie we decided to watch is sleepover. We alway use to say we'd do the same thing as the girls did in the movie, you know be adventurous and leave the house but it's just a movie.

"Is that thunder?" Bri asked.

"And lightning?" She added.

"Yah it's been going for a while guess its just really close now. Okay quiet this is my favorite part!" I told her.

Julie walked out on to her roof when she saw the crown she lost the night before. She walked up towards the treehouse and grabbed the crown and was surprised by the guy she's had a crush on forever. Than he just leaned in and kissed her.

"Hey, hey, hey, what happened to the TV and the lights?" I panicked as everything shut off.

"The power shut off, great" Bri complained. She got up and I heard her rummaging through a few drawers.

"Here's a flash light for you and one for me so at least we can finish our chips" Bri joked.

Suddenly there was a loud knocking at the door.

"Oh my god powers out, it's raining, there's no one else home and there is loud knocking at the door. Great! We're in a fucking horror movie!" I raised my voice I was really scarred I mean anything could happen.

"Ok Val I know this happens in way too many horror movies, but lets just go check ok? It'll be fine!" She said.

"Oh ok you go check it out, get killed, and than I'll be running from the killer until the morning comes than I'll be okay. Bye Bri, thanks for being my best friend!" I said being dramatic.

"Stop being dramatic okay? Now lets go" she said.

"Okay but I'm gonna stay behind you!" I said.

We walked down the stairs hand in hand, me behind Bri. She looked through her peep hole and screamed as soon as that someone knocked loudly again.

"Oh my gosh!" Bri said in disbelief.

"What? What? Who is it?" I asked her.

"It's Blake?" She said.

"Oh" I said relaxing my shoulders.

"Open the door, it's raining" I told her.

"Oh yah, right" she said and opened the door.

"Oh my god Bri" he said like he was exited to see her.

"What are you doing here Blake?" She asked him. I think it might be time for me to leave now.

"I need to talk to you" he said, than looked at me.

"Outside, please" he said, I just smiled at him kinda amused cause I think I know what's about to happen.

"Fine" Bri said and closed the door behind her after she took a step outside. I ran to the living room window so I can see everything that's happening.

Brianna's P.O.V

"So what are you doing here?" I asked Blake again.

"I wanted to say, I'm sorry" he started.

"Blake I" I tried but he sushed me.

"Please let me finish. I'm sorry that I thought you would just kiss Drew outta nowhere and I'm sorry that I said what I did I was just mad. I love you Bri, and even if your with that Shane kid now I don't care I just wanted you to know I still care. I love you so much" he told me. I'm glad it's raining so he can't tell that I'm crying at his words. We're both pretty much soaked head to toe now and it's freezing.

"Blake I'm not with Shane, he's just a really good friend. I love you too Blake more than anything, but how can I know that the next guy I talk to you, you won't just jump to conclusions?" I say.

"Because I love you, I'm in love you Bri and I mean it. I love you to the moon and back. I love you like I love air to breath or water to drink" he said than before I could even process what he was doing, he kissed me. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him back, man I've missed it.

"Be mine again, please" he said in a whisper after pulling away resting his forehead on mine.

"I love you Blake. I'm yours!" I said

And kissed him again passionately.

Valerie's P.O.V

"Aww they're kissing in the rain, lucky, she can cross that off her bucket list now. Wait? What? Oh shit" I whisper and jump on to the couch on the other side of the room and pretend to play on my phone when I hear them both coming in.

"The washroom is the first door on the right from the top of the stairs, towels are under the sink" Brianna explained to Blake. He thanked her and went up the stairs.

I looked at her with a smirk waiting for an explanation even though I already know every detail.

"What?" She asked putting in hand on her hip.

"What? What do you mean what? What happened out there?" I smiled.

"Oh please Val you think I didn't know you were at the window watching us?" She said, and we both laughed.

"Whatever, we're back together and I finally had my kiss in the rain so I can cross that off my bucket list" she said exited.

"Yes, now I can see you happy an full of life instead of dead all the time" I said getting up to hug her.

Even though this started off as a girls night I'm fine with it now being a 2 girls 1 boy night, as long as my best friend is happy again and Blake isn't showing up at home late drunk and loud in the bedroom next to mine every night!

The power came back on 10 minutes after Blake finished his shower an we all watched confessions of a teenage drama queen together, another movie Bri and I loved watching together as kids.
