Chapter 45-

Valerie's P.O.V

"So tell me what happened" Skyler told us as we all sat in her living room drinking the coffee she made us. I'm so glad she's letting us spend a few nights here. There was no where else we could've gone.

"Well, Jayk says I'm not allowed to date, that I'm to young, I'm just a kid and I'm gonna get hurt. After he found out Devin and I were together he got so pissed and forced us to break up. So we broke up... Or we pretended too. There was so many close calls and one by one each of the guys were finding out but keeping their mouths shut to Jayk. Than last night Jayk opened the door to the house to see us making out on the living room couch. He literally threw Devin out and sent me to my room after screaming at me and pushing me over. I snuck out the window, found Devin, and now... We're here. And we couldn't thank you enough for letting us stay here.

"Oh wow! You're welcome but if the police get involved then you'd have to leave. I can't get in any trouble especially with the police" she informed us.

"I figured as much" I told her.

"Ok well, I'm going to work so you two behave" she said heading toward the door grabbing keys off a hook next to the door.

"Ha ha always" Devin said and she walked out.

"Soo? Wanna go upstairs?" Devin asked me nervously.

"Skyler told us to behave" I smirked at him.

"Yeah but she's gone now, and she won't be coming back for a while" he winked.

"Yeah, you're right" I said running up the stairs while Devin chased behind me.

Jayk's P.O.V

"I can't do it anymore!" I yelled to Drew.

"Relax Jayk we'll find her. Maybe we should call the police" he suggested.

"It's been 4 fucking days, we've looked everywhere. I can't call the police that'll just make her sure she never wants to come back" I told him.

"Now help me think. Where else could she be?" I added.

"She might be at her friend Shane's" Blake said coming into the room with a bag of sour cream and onion flavored chips.

"Shane? That kid her and Bri use to hang out with when they were kids." I said remembering.

"Yah he's gay, just thought you should know that" Blake added

"I didn't really need to know but thanks" I said as me and Drew headed towards the door.

"Are you kidding me?!" I yelled.

"Sorry Jayk. I know where she might be though. We used to walk through all these crazy trails near the soccer field she might have set up a tent there, who knows?" Shane told me.

"Take me there, now!" I told him, he nodded.

Valerie's P.O.V

"4 days. Jayk is probably going nuts!" Devin said putting some dishes away.

"I know, but I also don't wa, I mean.... Um I wanna go home, but not without you and not without our relationship being accepted because I love you, more than anything" I told him.

"And I love you, more than I love to sing and dance, more than I could ever love someone or something" he said back as I finished drying the last dish.

I dried my hands, turned around, grabbed his face and left a small short peck on his lips. I love him so god damn much.

Jayk's P.O.V

"Do you know anywhere else she could be?" I asked Shane.

"No sorry man I really wish I could help" he said.

"Shit!" I cursed and kicked one of the wheels of my car.

"Oh. Wait. Jayk wait!" I heard Shane call. He ran over to me at the end of his drive way.

"Here, check through these specific trails. As kids we used to walk in and outta these trails the most. Finally made a map, there's so many, so good luck" he told me.

"Thanks man, see ya" I told him and finally drove off.

Authors note-... I'm almost done this story is almost over 😭 I've been writing this for so long and it'll be nice to finally finish it but also sad because this is the first okay fan fiction that I've ever started on this website. My favorite website ever I might add!
