Kim Seokjin's POV

"Hey," Boram's sweet and soft voice echoed in the four corners of my home office, disrupting the tensioned silence that had actually made me relax quite a bit from all the stress I wasn't able to leave in the office.

"Busy?" She asked, approaching my table. Instead of taking a sit in front of my desk, she turned my chair and sat on my lap instead. It was a very bold mood, but I did not mind.

I never minded when she's being assertive with what she wanted with me.

"Can't sleep?" I asked, wrapping an arm on her waist to keep her from falling, giving all of my attention to her. It's been a while since she interrupted me from work, and I'm glad she's back at it again.

"It's not that. Well, I was talking with Sagwa on the phone and she said that she wanted to throw a party for Eunhye and she's asking for our help, especially you since you've thrown parties before."

"But I haven't thrown a kid's party," I pointed out.

She leaned her back on me, letting go of any weight she was withdrawing from giving as she further relaxed in my arms. I had to use my other hand to stabilize her position.

"But you do know party organizers. Maybe your connections can help."

"When does she need the party organizer?" I asked, propping my chin on her shoulder.

"Within the week," Boram then looked at me and cupped my face with her soft hands. "You can just send them to me and I'll be the one to talk to them and refer one to Sagwa," and then she planted a kiss on my lips casually.

"Alright," I answered.

She pulled away from me, standing up. I didn't want her to do that, but I knew she had a long day and needed a proper rest.

"Don't stay up too late, mmmkay?" She reminded me before leaving my office, not forgetting to kiss the top of my head goodnight.

An hour later, I was done and went to bed, joining her and carefully pulling her in my arms to sleep.

The next morning, I woke up without her by my side. Seeing the bed empty somehow made me feel empty inside, and made me imagine life once either of us is no longer as busy.

After getting ready for work, I went down to have my breakfast and found her setting up the table. She wore a pastel pink apron on top of her work clothes and she hummed a song while placing the food she prepared on the table.

I couldn't help but hug her from behind, making her stiffen for a moment from shock. I then buried my face on the crook of her neck, smelling her sweet and floral perfume.

"I thought you already left," I said, tightening my arms around her waist.

"I was going to, actually. But the meeting got canceled so I no longer have to go to work early," she said, resting herself to my body.

I finally let go of her and found my place on the nearest edge of the table.

"You cooked these?" I asked.

"Just the waffles," she admitted. "And I made hot chocolate." She removed her apron and sat down beside me.

"By the way, I'm coming over to my mom's place later to talk with Sagwa about the party. You can come by if you want."
