Kim Seokjin's POV

"I am sick of this song," I mumbled as I drove, Golden by Huntrix playing in the radio while Eunhye sang along. I glanced over my wife beside me, and then her sister at the back who both have a slightly irritated expression, making me unable to hold back a laugh.

We were on our way to Jennie's boutique to have Eunhye's measurements taken. Although my cousin is not an expert when it came to costumes, but I mean, she's talented nevertheless, and she wanted extra money so she took on the project.

"What's funny?" Boram asked, but instead, I teased her by singing along with the song as well, "We're going up, up, up, it's our moment," and smirked at her.

She firmly closed her eyes, inhaling deeply and then looked away from me.

"Jin, can you like... shut up?" That was Sagwa, taking me aback, but I quickly recovered and laughed at her while looking at her through the rear view mirror. She raised her middle finger at me, making me laugh harder.

"Sagwa!" That was Boram, displeased with her sister's behavior especially since we were with her child.

We soon arrived and was immediately accompanied to Jennie's office. We were also offered some drinks and snacks while they took Eunhye's measurements.

"These chocolate chip cookies are really good," Boram said, almost emptying the first layer of the dessert tray with various sweets by herself.

"Try them," she told me while pointing on the remaining cookie left. I took it, divided it in half and gave the other half to her as I bit my piece.

Her eyes softened as she pouted, probably moved by my gesture, and she accepted it.

"They're good. Where'd you get them?" I asked Jennie.

"From one of my staff here," she responded, focused on doing her thing. "Do you guys want to order?"

"Oh yes, definitely," Boram said enthusiastically, taking nibbles of the last half piece of cookie she had left.

"Let's pause for a while. Can you please tell Hayoon to come here," she told her assistant.

The said person then came in and showed us the dessert items that she bakes. Aside from working here, she owns a small business of her homemade desserts.

Boram bought 6 pieces of chocolate chip and s'mores cookies, and 3 pieces of oatmeal and red velvet cookies.

"That's a lot," Sagwa pointed. "Are you okay? Since when did you have a sweet tooth?" She asked.

Boram popped the remaining bit of cookie in her mouth then shrugged.

Sagwa had a point. Although Boram had grown to enjoy baking these couple of years, she wasn't much into sweets, hence, making sourdough breads with salty and savory inclusions become her primary baking hobby.

"It's not like I'd eat them all in one sitting," she reasoned then asked, "What's your recommended shelf life for these?"

"One to two weeks if you place them in an airtight container."

"18 cookies in 2 weeks, and I'm sure Jin will have some too. It's not bad," she reasoned again.

After the fitting, we brought Sagwa and Eunhye back home.

"Are you okay?" I asked the next morning, seeing her beside me, face scrunched after snoozing her alarm for the nth time, still not standing up.

"I don't wanna go to work," she said, almost sounding like she was about to cry. "I feel awful."

"Call in sick. Do you want me to stay home with you?"
