CHAPTER 45 REVIEW!!
Xavier's POV
I looked down at my bundle and her eyes fluttered open for the first time.
A pair of emerald eyes stared back at me.
I felt my family crowding behind me, yearning to see her face, but I ignored them.
All that mattered was my beautiful daughter.
A shock of spiky dark hair stuck out from the blanket and I glanced at it as it caught the lights in the room, the red shimmering against her pale skin.
She looked up at me and she met my eyes, never looking away.
We held each other's gaze until her tiny mouth opened into a little letter 'o'.
Her eyes slid shut and she laid her head against my chest.
I held her to my body.
She fit perfectly into my hand, stretching up my arm a bit as she curled up and drifted off to sleep.
I looked up into the tired, smiling faces of my family.
Mama held her hands to her heart.
Mom and Dad had their arms around each other, gazing at their first grandchild.
Xavier stared proudly at his daughter, one arm draped around a very unstable looking Amy.
Amy caught my eyes and smiled, waggling her fingers at me before wiping away more tears that slid down her cheeks.
The doctor was the first one to speak. "So what's her name?" he asked, looking at each of us.
I looked down at my beautiful sleeping baby once more and looked back up at my family.
"Serenity Rose." I said, turning my attention back to my beautiful baby girl.

CHAPTER 46
Xavier's POV
From the moment I laid eyes on my precious baby girl, to the first time I held her tiny body in my arms, I knew she was special.
The first week was difficult.
As was the next, and the week after that, and on and on.
But me and my girls, we took it day by day, savoring our moments together, counting down the days til her first birthday.
It was rare for them to live past their first birthday, but Serenity was strong.
She had her mother's stubbornness and my determination.
But yet, the days grew tougher.
Most nights I would roll over to find Hayden's side on the bed empty.
I would find her rocking in the nursery, holding Serenity as she slept; the tears shimmering down her cheeks, catching the light of the moon through the open window as they dropped off her chin and onto our baby girl.
