CHAPTER 23 REVIEW!!

Xavier's POV

"I don't know baby. She said her name was McKenna. I've never even met her before!" I said quietly so Charles wouldn't hear us.

"Really?" she asked, sniffling again. "But she said-"

"She was lying. After you left, she said she was just doing her job."

"What?" a questioning look covered her face.

"Yeah, I don't know. But, we need to stay strong. Forget about what she said. It was all nonsense." I said, pulling her onto my lap. She laid her head down on my shoulder and nodded.

Even as I said this, I knew deep down, that something was weird.

I had a feeling that McKenna hadn't been lying.

But who wouldn't want Hayden and I together?

CHAPTER 24

Hayden's POV

"Everyone is staring at us!" Amy whispered fiercely in my ear, setting down a bottle.

"No they're not! Why would they be?" I asked, pushing a box of a 'VALUE PACK!' of bottles aside and grabbed a blue one near the back of the shelf.

"Because you're gigantic! That's why!?" she screeched, taking and setting down the bottle I had in my hand.

"Why not that one?" I pouted like a child.

"Because it's blue! What if you have a girl? You have to put neutral colored stuff on the registry!" she complained as if it was common knowledge to make a baby shower gift registry.

We'd been at Babies'R'Us for over two hours now and I was exhausted.

I growled at her and a lady walking by stared at me. I sighed and laid my head down in a nearby shelf. "I'm tired." I complained.

"This takes time!" Amy said.

"You would know." I laughed.

Amy's oldest sister Nina got marred over the summer and had thrown all the hard work to Any who couldn't say no to her. So Amy had been put in charge of making the gift registry, sending out invitations and booking everything for the wedding.

"Don't even remind me of Nina's wedding!" she groaned.

I laughed and stood back up, turning to look down the next isle filled with diapers.

"Why are there so many different kinds of diapers?" I asked Amy as we walked down the isle.

"Can I help you ladies?" a worker ask us. Her petite figure was hidden under her lame teddy bear scrubs that the workers were required to wear here.

"Um, I think were fine for now, thanks!" I said, my back still to her as I picked up another package of diapers and scanned it onto the registry.

Amy smiled at the worker and continued down the isle as well.

"So who's baby shower are you two planning-" she asked, gesturing towards the registry scanners Amy was holding. I turned around to face her and her expression changed completely.
