Ragatha let out a sigh of relief as she saw me walking back into the main room holding Jax's hand.
"There you are!" She said, approaching us.
"Hey," Jax greeted weakly.
She turned to me and mouthed 'Is he okay?' to which I nodded in response.
"You guys need to head to the sofas, we all need to talk." Her expression was a little grave.
Me and Jax exchanged looks then we followed her close behind, our fingers intertwined with each other. We warily sat down on the green couch beside Kinger, who was looking pretty sober for a crazy man. Everybody's expressions were grave and anxious.
"Thank you guys for coming," Ragatha begun, sitting on an armchair. "As most of you know, Caine has been having.. episodes."
"Yeah no duh we're in a TV show on YouTube."
"Jax, now isn't the time for jokes." Ragatha scolded the bunny. She took a deep breath before continuing. "Caine has been glitching lately- which I'm sure we're all well aware of- But he's been glitching for longer, and so has our world."
Everybody exchanged glances and I squeezed Jax's hand as if letting go would be the death of me.
"So, we're going to come up with a plan." She said confidently. "We're going to get out of here before anything bad happens, and I promise we'll see each other again in the real world. I won't stop looking until I find each and every one of you."
There was a small murmur in our group, then Ragatha spoke again, "We're going to figure out what in the heck is really going on here, and we're going to find our way out."
We all nodded. We were all determined to get out of this stupid video game. Kinger's hand flew up.
"Yes, Kinger?" Ragatha asked.
"I.. may know a few things that could help," He said calmly. "I have many theories."
"Do tell." Pomni urged him.
Kinger got up and Ragatha took his spot on the couch next to Pomni.
"So.. I've noticed some things, and I've come to the conclusion that we're trapped here because we think we're trapped here."
The room went quiet as everybody tried their best to listen to Kinger. What he said almost made sense already, but I wanted to hear more.
"Ragatha, do you remember in the guns adventure when I came up with the healing butterfly?"
"Yes.." The ragdoll admitted. "I thought that was strange."
"And do we all remember when Pomni first arrived, and how she was talking about an exit door that none of us had seen or heard of before?"
Everybody except for me nodded. I arrived about a month after she did, but I can guarantee I didn't see anything of an exit door.
"I think she saw the exit door because she wanted to see one- She imagined her own way out, but she didn't think it through enough so she ended up in the void."
I squeezed Jax's hand.
"So you're saying if we all come up with a detailed way to leave, that we can finally get out of here?" Zooble asked.
"Precisely." Kinger seemed rather happy that somebody understood him for once.
"We best start getting to work, then." Pomni said. "Gangle, get your crayons."
"Why?"
"Because we're gonna get out of here."
