He looked up from my black flats and stared into my eyes. I stared back into his. He moved his face closer to mine and I moved closer to him. Then it hit me.
WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING???!!!
I yelled at myself in my head. I quickly moved my face away from his and looked the other way. He seemed a bit upset at first but he quickly got over it. After the song, we talked for a bit. And then, he wrote his name and number on a napkin, and disappeared. I examined the napkin for a moment.
His name was Luke. I folded the napkin in my hand and looked around for Simon. I couldn't find him, so I sat on one of the benches in the room, and waited. I had lived here for a while, and I knew most of the people in the room, but I'm not much of a people person. So I sat there quietly. And waited for the only person I've ever really opened up to. Well.. Except for my mom.
