"LUKE! Listen to me! Don't fucking touch her!"
I screamed at him. It was hard to see much through all the tears. I know she was holding 2 rectangular brown things. A book and a little wooden case. The book was a scrap book. And the case was pretty blunt looking. Luke reached for the contents of her hands. I slapped him in the back of the head as hard as I could.
"For the last time, Luke....."
I said under my breath.
"Don't even put a fucking finger of your on her body. Do you understand me?"
I yelled at him. He backed off.
"Then you get what she's holding. Meet me back at the church. I'm leaving. Walk the fuck home."
He hissed at me and walked out of the room. I stood there staring at her when I heard the front door slam. I jumped and started crying again on the floor.
