Hunter, Mason, Zeljion, Alex, and Deiken were sitting at the table. Donnovan doesn't eat with us. Ever. Me and Luke entered the dining room. Everyone waved and said hello.
"How'd you sleep, newbie?"
Asked Hunter.
"Oh.. Good. Thank you for asking.."
I smiled softly. She continued to eat. When I had said that, Luke made a strange face. I nudged him.
You kissed me, idiot.
I thought. Ugh. It's not even a big deal, Kate. It's not like it meant anything. I sat down and Luke tossed me a paper plate. I got my food. And sat down to eat. Today is the beginning of my first day of hunting.
