I answered the cops questions, and me and Simon walked around the block and talked. I calmed down a bit in the cool, fall breeze. We got back, I filled a suit case with a few things and planned to spend the next little while with Simon. We got back to his place, and I cried again for a while, and we ate pizza and watched Netflix. At around 9:45pm, we went to bed. I was tired from today. He gave me his bed and he slept on the floor beside the bed. I've known him since I was about 2 years old. Our parents would get together and we would do whatever we did back then.
In the morning, I got up before Simon. I laid in bed and stared at the ceiling for about 2 minutes before getting sick of waiting for him to get up and stepped over him and got dressed. I stuck a sticky note to his face that read,
Gone out. Be back soon. Text me when you wake up. ~Katie
I went to some random café on the next street from Simon's place. It had decent coffee. Nice decor. I was sitting at a table and looking around the café, when I spotted Luke. I stared for a moment and then blushed.
What is he doing here???
I thought. Then he noticed me. He got up from his seat and walked towards me.
"U-uh.. Hi."
I said.
