We had purchased our entrance to the dance, and proceeded into the school gym.
"Uh.. Kate... Why were you so zoned out waiting in that line?.."
Simon asked.
"O-oh."
I said. My attention was re-directed back to Simon.
"I-I don't know. I just zoned out."
I added and laughed softly.
A girl had approached Simon, and asked him to dance. She was pretty. She had orange-ish red-ish hair. And blue eyes. She was taller than Kate. But Kate was only 5'4. She looked maybe 5'6. She was wearing a short little baby blue dress. It was quite simple and the fabric was very thin. It was a v-line cut tank top. And the bottom ended in pretty folds. Simon and the girl walked off. So I stood alone. Not for too long, though. A muscular guy with fairly long black hair and icy blue eyes walked towards me. He was attractive. Quite. He was wearing a causal white dress shirt and jeans. His shirt was unbuttoned and to be honest, he seemed kinda intoxicated. He took my hand and twirled me around. I blushed and looked at him.
"Your very satisfying to look at. Would you care to dance?"
He seemed quite fun. So I accepted.
"S-sure.."
I said a little timidly. It felt as if my face was burning. He could probably tell I was blushing. He danced around like a drunken monkey and I laughed when he tripped on his own feet. We had a pretty good time. Simon stuck with the girl he had met. So I stuck with my boy. Then. After I had a few drinks myself, a slow song came on. And he stood in front of me with his hand stretched out to grab mine. I blushed and took his hand and we slow danced. He was still sort of tripping on himself. I laughed a bit. And he blushed and stared at my feet.
