CHAPTER SIXTEEN(WEIRD STUFF)

Patricia's Pov.

This week was crazy, I've been working non-stop on the project,therefore I'm sleep deprived , a little bit malnourished and the meeting with the boss just wore me out. Today being Sunday I've decided to rest before work tomorrow. I climb into bed and as I'm about to shut my eyes and go to sleep.

'is this a bad time?.' he continues. well there goes my chances of getting any sleep.

'obviously,and where have you been lately,its like you disappeared.' I yell and questioned

'awwwww did somebody miss me.' he said wiggling his eyebrows suggestively

'oh hell no,don't get this twisted,this week that you've been away has been my most peaceful and normal.' I state

'wow' he says,a flash of hurt passes through his eyes.

'look I'm sorry but I've always been brutally honest.' I say apologetically

'well if you must know,I've been looking after,Anna.' he said brushing off the other topic. dang men and their ego,I mean ghosts and their ego.

'why you so worried about her,I mean shes in the witness protection shes safe and she doesn't need a babysitter Richard,honestly I don't think she deserves your kindness.'

'look the trial is on,and reliving those horrible memories,she might be suicidal,when she gets out she needs a place to stay. I was hoping you would let her stay at your place,please.'  he begged

'no no no nope,nada,no way.' I said immediately.

'she has no where else to go.' he reasoned

'not my place, look no one can ever live with me,why do you think I moved out of my dad's place early,if they see me talking to you,oh wait they don't see me talking to you,they will all think I'm crazy. you said you were wealthy so give her your wealth but I do not want my mother's murderer living under the same roof as myself,that would  be betraying her and killing her all over again.'

'Trish you need to help her because now I'm your responsibility that means she is too and this will probably help you heal,Anna is a good person.' Rich defended.

'ha! good,she is a witness huh,but she hasn't confessed to killing you or my mother,looks to me like shes saving her own ass,and you are here helping her and tormenting me.' I yell

'it's my mission and my reason for coming back,its the reason I can't rest in peace.'

'then you shouldn't have come,if you weren't here I would be happy.' I accuse

'you can't blame me for your bitterness,and if I wasn't here another ghost would be here.' he said

'when will your time on earth be done so you can rest in peace.' I ask

'honey you cannot get rid of me,I'll leave when my mission is done and even when I leave,another ghost will be here.' he informed.

'I know all this but at least I will have a little time before another ghost is assigned to me,you know what if I let her live in my place will that speed up your mission.' I ask.

'yes' he answers.

'fine she can stay here,happy now.' I say.

'yhep I would give you a hug but can't cause of the obvious.' he says while doing some kind of happy dance.

'I might be away for a while,still protecting her and soon we will get her a house and money,bye.' he states and disappeared. I don't get Rich,its not like he can protect her directly he needs human help,me or he can play with elements,like flicker the lights,plumbing,wind,etc but that's not enough
