Chapter 46
Treasure POV:

Elijah and I stayed on his little hideaway  for at least an hour. We would open up to each other about our childhoods and realize how different they were. He admired my stories and I would cherish his.

"Hungry?" He asked me as we stayed leaning against the hard stone edge. By now, the sun has gone down and it's a small cast shadow of the sun before it fully disappears.

"Very." I nod. He straightens, holding his palm out. I reach forward, locking our fingers together like a completed puzzle piece.

He leads me down slowly and safely since there wasn't any bright light like before.

As the night came to an end, we had dinner at a very calm and chilled restaurant. It wasn't anything fancy but it wasn't like McDonald's. But it might as well been because we ordered burgers and fries.

We talked and talked some more about the most random things yet when speaking it made sense. To us we weren't just talking about school and petty fights. I heard stories that I'll always remember. A normal date. Just like he wanted.

"What's your favorite animal?" I asked him. I grabbed a French fry and dipped it in some ketchup before I plopped it into my mouth.

"Dog."

I rolled my eyes.

"What?" He said, half laughing.

"That is the most basic answer." I raised a brow. "No offense to dog lovers. I love them too but really?"

He leaned back, pretending to be offended. "Why am I being shamed for loving a furry animal?"

"Because there are so many animals out there and you could only say a dog?"

"Did you not ask me what's my favorite? How are you going to tell me I'm wrong for my favorite?"

"That's so basic."

"Okay then what's yours? Let me guess a pony. Lion maybe?" He sits back, crossing his arms, challenging me.

"An elephant." I shrugged casually.

"Them big fucking human stompers?" He genuinely looked concerned, like he heard wrong.

"Yes. And don't talk about them like that." I pointed at him. I didn't make any rude comment about his "furry friend". How could I?

"Am I wrong though?"

"Yes. They don't step on people unless you're in their way."

"You just admitted they stomp on people."

"Just don't give them a reason to stomp on you, and you'll be fine."

He stared at me for a second probably not believing the mini disagreement we just had. He then shakes his head with a smirk. "You're unbelievable."

"And you're basic." I grinned.

He chuckled. "I'll stick with my dog. At least I know it won't turn me into a sandwich on a bad day." I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, your turn. Ask me a question?"

He wiped his hand on a napkin then places it aside on the table. He squints his eyes just a bit like he's trying to figure out what question he should ask.

"Where's the most craziest place you had sex?"

I blinked. "Wow. We went from animals to sex, I love it." I giggle because it was so off guard.

I sighed as I tried my hardest to remember all the places I've had sex. I remembered one and it may not be my most exotic but it was the only good one I could remember. "On my teachers desk." I told truthfully.
