On Our Own

Ashley P.O.V

After the stomach pains went away, Rocky walked up to me and Ross and spoke in a hush tone. "You guys should probably hear this now." He sighed and walked closer. "Cat got a call from the hospital saying you were pregnant." My throat got instantly dry.

"Who knows?" I gulped. "Just me, Cat, and Riker. I don't know who else the hospital is going to call." Rocky answered. "Riker?" I walked around Rocky to see his red face. "I can't.....I'm fine." He said then presumed to walk out the door. I began to cry as I walked after him.

I don't know why I cared so much about his feelings, but I did. "Wait." Ross said. Me, Rocky, and Riker looked back at him while Cat walked back into the room. "Who's is it?" He asked.

Ratliff P.O.V

I can't believe Rydel accused me of that. I don't even know where I'm going so I decided to sit in Riker's room. He's the oldest but still lives here, which will always confuse me. 

I would've went to Ashley's but that'd cause a scene. Of course I don't love her. Of course I don't love her. Of course I do love her. As the realization slowly started to come back, I looked around Riker's room for some gum when I saw a picture on his bureau. "What?" I said out loud as I grabbed the frame.

There, in my hand. was a picture of him and Ashley kissing. I walked around his room confused, when I saw another picture of them on his night stand. Then another on his wall. There were pictures everywhere. Why does he still have these?

Ross P.O.V

I'm not sure why I said that, but I knew everyone was thinking it. We didn't know how far along she was, and she's slept with me and Riker in just a matter of weeks.

"Are you serious!" Ashley screamed. I caught her fist right before it collided with my face. "Don't you think it's a good idea to get tested? Even find out if you're really pregnant?" Riker said.

Ashley sighed. "Yeah. But I only want Ross to go." I smiled and grabbed my keys. "Let's go." I looked back at the group and made one request, "Don't tell anyone yet." 

Riker P.O.V

Waiting was probably the hardest thing I've ever done. Because honestly, I wanted to be the father. "What time is it?" I asked. "Two minutes since the last time you asked." Cat answered while sitting on Rocky's lap. We were all in the living room together. 

It's already 8 at night; they've been gone for at least 3 hours. They finally walked into the door at 8:30. "Well?" I rushed to them. "Sit down." Ross ordered as he directed Ashley into the living room. "I took tests, but I'm not getting answers until tomorrow. However, Me and Ross talked some things out."

I gulped as Ashley continued. "No matter who the father is I'm staying with Ross because a baby can't change who I love. It'll be confusing but time will only help. Also.." She looked up at Ross. "My mom isn't going to pay for the house anymore. Me and Ross are going to move out with the money I got from my dad. We will give Cat a few thousand to keep the house until you both get jobs." She aimed her eyes at Rocky and Catherine. 

"Even if you aren't pregnant, you're still moving?.." I asked. "Yes." Ross answered. My chest got tight. Cat and Rocky stayed silent until Cat looked up. "When and where are you moving?" Catherine asked. "Depending on the tests, probably in a few weeks. And we'd like to move some other town but still in Cali." Ashley answered. 

I can't fucking believe this.
