Ross P.O.V

Of course I'm mad at Ashley. After all we've been through, and she shreds my heart up. I sat in the studio, editing 'Heart Made Up On You' when Ryland ran downstairs. "She's home." He informed me. "Okay.." "And shes with him." He said sourly. "Him as in your brother?" I laughed. "Yeah. And I think you should delete that tweet." He scratched his neck. "I already did." He gave me a look and walked back upstairs.

And hour later, Ratliff came back from his parents house.

"Heeey Ross." He dragged his finger across the wall. "Hi." I said while I played xbox. I havent left the basement all day. "Can I ask you something?" I asked, still not looking away from the screen. He sat down "Sure." "How could you like Ashley, then easily get over here the next day." "AHA!" He stood up. "So you don't hate her!" He smiled.

"Answer my question." I ordered. He sat back down slowly. "I didn't." "What?" "Im not over her. I was hoping to bond with her when we went to the hill but Riker texted me afterwards that him and ashley were engaged, so I gave up." "You knew?!" I paused the game. "They told me not to say anything!" Ratliff stood up once again. So I'm not crazy for still liking her. "Look, I didnt come down here to get interrogated. Yes, I wish me and Ashley were together. But I love Rydel. Anyways," He began walking to the stairs. "I came down here to ask if you wanna come to with the group to the carnival on the water front." "Nah-" I began.

The group. Ashley...

This was my chance to talk to her. "Yeah, actually." I said, changing my mind. I ran up stairs and changed. I got dressed to impress.

Ratliff P.O.V

I miss my parents because I'm always touring or at the Lynchs. So seeing them for a few hours today was nice. I walked back to Ashleys house where everyone was. "I invited Ross." I shouted. "WHAT." Ashley yelled almost falling down the stairs. I chuckled.

"He's part of the family." I stated. She nodded her head and walked back upstairs to finish getting dressed. Rocky told me that they just wanted to be alone , the four of them, but that was yesterday and today's a new day.

Everyone got dressed in shorts and tanks. "Ryland? " Cat shouted as she looked around the group where everyone gathered and Ryland came out of the kitchen with cheese around his mouth. "My cheese puffs!" Ashley shrieked and grabbed the bag of cheese puffs from Rylands hands. He wiped his face on Ashleys sleeve as she walked by him. "Omg!" She wiped her shoulder off as Ryland picked her up and proceeded to carry her outside.

Before exiting, there was a knock on the door. We opened the door to Ross leaning in the door frame with a leather jacket and jeans. "Ross, its 95 degrees." Rydel said. "Kay." He said. "Alright lets get this baby goin'!" I skipped outside holding Rydel's hand. Ryland walked in front of the group as Ashley laughed on his shoulder. Riker looked aggravated but said nothing.

Ross gave Riker an awkward look and pressumed to the car. We all packed into Ross' convertible and headed to the carnival, not knowing what was waiting for us.
