Riker P.O.V (continued)

I woke up next to Ashley, the way it used to be. "Good morning." I told her. "Morning." She answered, her eyes still closed. She finally opened her eyes at me and I couldn't resist but kiss her. I looked away embarrassed when she laughed and leaned over me to kiss me back.

She frowned. "What?" I panicked. "Im hungry." She pouted. We got up and looked around the trucks when we realized Rocky and Cat were gone. Ross and Ellington soon woke up while Ryland was still knocked out.

We all gave each other awkward smiles and continued searching.

"WOO HOOOO." We heard Rocky scream while he floored the truck back on the hill. "We got food!" Cat chanted. Rocky spread out a huge blanket and we all sat down. For a hill, it was greatly flat in some areas. Rocky handed everyone McDonald's bags with our favorite in each. "How classy." Ashley laughed. We all chuckled and began to eat.

Ashley P.O.V

Im a horrible horrible horrible person. I can't keep going back and forth between them. I dont even think I chose Riker. I just ended up sleeping next to him and kissing him back. Total accident. Maybe? No.

I finished my McGriddel as Ryland woke up. "REALLY?" He said angrily. Rocky threw him a bag. Ryland's face got red and he smiled while we all laughed.

"So what's the plans?" Ellington asked. "We can't do anything today without Rydel." Cat noted. "I talked to her. She just wants to be alone." Rocky said. Me and Ratliff looked at the ground. "I kinda want to stay here today and just relax." I said. Everyone agreed and we put all of our phones in Rockys glove box so we wouldnt be bothered.

We just laid down on the blanket all day and talked together. I felt bad for Rydel, but she needed some space. And I think I'm choosing Riker. I have no idea how it happened, though. I love Ross and I like Ratliff but it feels right with Riker. Hes my muse.

Riker went for a walk by himself for a few hours and finally came back. Cat and Rocky decided to go for a walk. When they went to McDonald's this morning, they packed some clothes for everyone cause we agreed we wanted some distance from the world for a bit. Our parents were obviously back from vacation and were perfectly fine with our break.

Ross and Ratliff decided to write some songs. I cuddled up next to Riker on the blanket. "I have a surprise for you." Riker said. "Oh no." I said. "Huh?" He questioned. "Nothing." I sighed. I hate surprises. He stood up and grabbed my hand. "I'm gonna get dressed first." He handed me a bag. "This is the first surprise." He went into the truck and grabbed his clothes then headed towardss the woods to change. I opened the bag to find a silky pink dress. I don't think changing is a big deal so I slipped on the dress where I was, turning around to see Ross and Ratliff staring at me. "Sorry." I gasped. "Don't apologize." Ross laughed then looked back at his guitar.

Riker came back. He looked at me and bit his lip. I jumped into the truck. "What are you doing?" "What?" I asked. "Babe, were walking." Babe? I looked at Ross then Ellington then Riker then my dress.

I'm dating riker.

I gulped and walked up to him as he held his hand out for me. We walked for 10 minutes in silence. I think its cute when we don't have to talk to appreciate each other. We walked onto a mysterious beach with candles and a blanket and lights hanging from every pole. "Oh riker..." I gasped. "Is this what you did on your walk?" He smiled. We sat down on the blanket.

"So are we..." Riker questioned. "I think so." I laughed. We ate some food and watched the water. Its only 4 in the afternoon, or so. Riker pulled out another bag. "Are you kidding." I said. He laughed. "Its just bathing suits." He assured me. I put on my bathing suit willingly and walked out from my changing spot. "I don't really want to swim.." I told Riker. "Really?" He looked at the ground before grabbing me and pulling me in the water with him. We never get time alone and this was fun.

We keep splashing each other and he would occasionally pick me up and throw me in the water. We were swimming for a decent two hours until we decided to dry off. We sat on the blankets with our towels.

He turned on his side and looked into my eyes. "I'm completely and utterly, irresistibly in love with you."

"I love you." I kissed him. And with no one watching, I gave myself up to him.
