Stuck On You

Ratliff P.O.V

I showed up to the party a little late. Everything was still awkward and when I went home I had to discuss with the police that I'm truly safe now.

I walk in and the first person I see is Rydel. I'm guessing the guy with his arm around her is her new boyfriend. I look away, trying to forgetting the unsettling pain in my stomach.

And after yesterday, I'm pretty sure Ashley and Riker broke up. Maybe this is my chance.

I walk around the house in search for Ashley but can't find her. I opened the door to the back patio and see Ashley and Ross sitting down.
Of course.

"Ratliff!" Ashley smiled and hugged me. I was lost in the smell of her perfume for a moment then answered with "Happy late birthday." I pulled out a box from my pocket.

"Uh oh." She said. I laughed. "Its nothing bad." She opened the box to reveal a 50$ giftcard to Forever 21. I just didnt want to overdo it.

She smiled and kissed my cheek. She had to stand on her tip toes. Ash was a decently tall girl, about 5'4", but short compared to us. She had straight brown hair which she curled for today. She has a light brown color to her hair though.
I love it.

"So have you talked to everyone? I saw your mom-" I pointed to the house as she instantly replied "No. But I'm going to now. Wanna come?" "Sure." I said and we left Ross sitting outside.

Rocky P.O.V

Cat's parents insisted on seeing our house so I led them the way. They criticized a little but we're mostly proud. We weren't sure where Cat went but I want some quality time with her folks so they could get a good sense of me.

"So Ash lives here too?" Cat's mom asked. "Yeah. Thats her and Riker's room." I pointed to the closed door as we got upstairs. "So this must be your room." Catherine's dad quickly opened the door to our messy room as I consider biting my nails.

They looked around disapprovingly when Cat's mom screamed. "Is that a...condom!" I ran into our room and noticed it was messier than I thought. "Oh wait! This is Ashley's room!" I lied and came up with a reason to leave. "Let's go find Cat."

I let her parents walk out first because her Mom looked nauseous. When we got back home I decided to go to the kitchen, by myself, to get a drink. "Holy cow!" I heard a voice shriek. Cold fingers touched my face. "Mom.." "Did you and your brother fall??" I turned around to face my mom. "I'm fine." "Rocky Mark Lynch. Tell me what is going on right now."

So I did. I explained everything to her.  And she just stood there. She was about to say something when Ashley walked up, linked with Ratliff's arm. "This party is great Stormie!" Ash smiled. "Y-you're welcome....I thought you were with r-r-riker..." Mom was totally freaking out.

"No, we got into a little argument." "So I've heard. And it's cost my boys their clear skin." Ashley stood there a little confused when we heard the voice of Cat screaming from upstairs.

I burst through the crowd and upstairs. I walked into Riker's room to see Catherine beating Riker. "You asshole!" She kept repeating while crying. Now, you see, Catherine is kinda short. She's decently strong, but she's 5'1" and Riker is 6'.

I run in to pull Cat off Riker and see a girl smirking in the corner. Riker and this girl were both half naked. Cat was standing straight up now but I was still holding her back. "Who the fuck are you?" I asked. "Samantha Evens." Cat answered and spat on the floor.

I looked down and couldn't see Catherine's face expression. All I saw was her dark brown hair.

Next thing I knew, half the party was upstairs, standing outside the door. Ashley must've know it was about Riker because she squeezed through the crowd and almost fell walking into Riker's room. She slowly looked up to the sound of laughter. "Sam?" Ashley's eyes began to water. "Surprised?" She laughed. Me and Cat stood back and watched, me being confused. I let my grip of Cat go.

Riker sat up on his bed while Sam sat next to him. Riker looked at his hands on his lap. "This little cutie sent me a message on Twitter last night and paid for my flight. I couldn't believe an r5 member messaged me." Sam smirked.

"Is...this..." Ashley began saying while staring at the floor. "Kitten got your tongue?" Sam asked.

Ashley looked straight up and stared into Riker's eyes. "Is THIS what you were doing last night?! Fucking the school bully who almost made me kill myself?!"

Riker looked up at glared back at Ashley. "All. Night." He half smirked. Ashley slapped Riker across the face and threw their engagement ring at him. So I guess he did give it back..

Ashley started crying and ran down the stairs screaming "Ross!" When Catherine uppercut Samantha. "Bitch!"

I grabbed Cat back and walked her downstairs.
