Ross P.O.V
Rydel pulled into the driveway. She came to the door, without the girls. "Where are they?" I asked. "Uh they went home." She hung up her jacket. "Okay..." I said and walked next door.
I knocked maybe 12 times until I got an answer. "Hello?" Ashley's mom said aggravated. "Hey, can I talk to Ashley?" I asked. " "She's not here.." Her mom answered. "Are you sure?" "Ross, I'd know if my daughter was home." "Uh okay. Sorry. Bye."
I burst through my front door. "Where are they?" I yelled at Rydel. "Home!" "I just went there and her mom said she isn't home!" Rydel looked at the ground. "I cant tell you." She began to walk upstairs with Ratliff behind her. I pulled the back of Ratliff's shirt. "Tell me." I commanded. He turned around. "They are with Rocky and Riker." He answered sourly. "And Rikers gonna get her back." "I thought you were on my side." I asked. "I was, until I saw how much more Riker loved her than you do." He snapped. They faced forward and continued to walk upstairs. I turned around and grabbed my keys and headed for my car. "Hey!" I heard behind me. "Can I come?" Ryland asked. "Get in." I told him and we took off to where I knew they were.
Rocky P.O.V
Ashley just stood there in shock. "Riker.." She looked to the side. "No. Listen." He walked up to her and grabbed her face gently. "I'm so sorry I called the engagement off. You would've done the same. But 'im crazy its true, crazy for you.' I miss you. I love you."
I was actually nervous myself. "But what if I don't love you?" She whispered. "What?" He pulled away. "I know I've been confusing between you and ross.." "You got that right." Cat murmered. Ashley shot her a look. "But your treating me like the yo-yo now. You called off our engagement. Nothing says 'i don't love you anymore' more than that." "I said I'm sorry! We even recreated this whole thing for you two!" He aimed his hand around the decorated parking lot.
We heard the skid of tires and looked back. There's no way he found us.
