Dirty Little Secret

"Amy Benton." I murmured. "Oh you remember?" She chuckled. "How could I forget Sam's sidekick?" Have you every watched that movie Mean Girls? Well we had a set of them in my old school in Connecticut. Samantha Evens, Amy Benton, and Becky Hernandez. They were constantly picking on me and Cat. Mostly Sam, the other two were just her sidekicks.

"I thought your moustache was familiar." I snapped. "Oh hey. Be nice now. Or I can tell R5 what really happend when you left." I gulped. "How did you even meet Ross if you live here?" "Easy. Had daddy fly me to Cali. Got an audition. Went on the show." She pretended to wipe her nails. Riker walked into the bus. "Hey. How are you?" "Great." I kissed his cheek. "Im gonna go check on Ross." Amy smiled and walked out. "How's everything in here?" "Uhm actually, Riker.." "Yes?" He answered. "Could you tell the group that I want to talk to everyone after the concert?" "Of course. Is everything alright?" I just shook my head yes.

I went for a three hour walk while the group preformed. I needed to think how i was gonna talk to the group before they hated me. I walked back to the bus and saw that the group was there waiting for me. "Is this about the engagement?" Riker asked immediately. "No. Just sit down." I told him. I stood in front of everyone like I was performing a group presentation. Everyone was there including Amy. "Guys. Your my best friends. And there's some things that I need to tell you. I'd rather you hear it from me then someone off the street." She all just stared at me. "Ashley don't." Catherine began. "I have to." I stopped her. "Babe, your scaring me." Riker commented.

I took a deep breath. "Me and Cat did decide to move away. Bullies at school were rough, we were scared of getting in the middle of you guys, Catherine's parents were moving away anyways, and it just wasn't working. So we moved to Connecticut. And went to school with Amy." Everyone looked at her. "Were you guys already friends?" Ross asked. "Complete opposite actually." I said. "Well anyways. I..." I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.

"I dated someone. His name was Jackson." I opened my eyes to see Riker staring at the ground. "Im not trying to ruin your night but I really need to get this out." I began to cry. Rydel walked up to me and hugged me. "Just continue." She said and sat me down. "Jackson wasn't a good person. I just missed Riker and Ross so much and I just completely hated myself for leaving. Everyday I'd try to text you, Jackson would yell at me. One day he just completely smashed my phone. And Cat had to give hers back to her parents."

"He did drugs. And I felt like shit so I started doing drugs. And I became very suicidal. I was the laughing stock of school. I forcefully repeatedly hooked up with Jackson to forget things. There were a few times where I thought I was pregnant."

Riker stood up to walk out. I began crying harder. "But thats when my mom decided that we left. I kept getting texts on my new phone from Amy and her group telling me to do bad things to myself. I tried killing myself and my mom knew it was time to go. I know I sound crazy but the guilt of leaving was eating me alive. Its still eating me." Riker turned around and walked towards me. "So you think killing yourself would've made this whole situation better?" He screamed then started crying. "Even the thought of losing you is unbearable." I hugged him with Ryland, Cat, Rocky, Ratliff, and Rydel joining. After a while they let go and it went silent. Ross stood up and walked away from Amy towards me.

"I didn't know. Im sorry." And he hugged me. "Oh come on!" Amy yelled. "Get. Out." Ross demanded. "What?" She said, shocked. "Call a taxi to get home. Just leave. Now." She walked towards the door. "Too bad your still alive." She looked at me. "I began crying into Ross' chest. How did I not recognize her?

"How did you have sex with that?" I asked, still hugging Ross. "What?" He laughed. "How did you ha-" "No I know what you said. I just think its funny because the only thing I ever did was kiss her." I hugged him tighter, feeling relieved.
