Stormie P.O.V

*next day*

"Yes, alright. See you soon." I said as I hung up the phone. May 21st has arrived and it's time for the party. Ashley's birthday was on the 13th and Catherine's was on the 9th so we decided to clash their parties together. They didn't do much on their actual birthdays.

"Hello?" I answered my phone. "Hello. Stormie Lynch?" "Yes?" "Hi. I'm Steven Murphy. I was wondering if we could book R5 at the RMA's red carpet event?" "Yes! That would be great!" I shrieked and wrote down the information 'Steven' gave me. "Thank you so much!" I said before hanging up.

The party was a surprise so the girls didn't know about it. Its 11:54 now and the guests arrive at 1. Ratliff was found yesterday and the group got home late last night.  Ross went to the store an hour ago with Ryland to get the cake, Ratliff slept at his parents, and Rydel went to pick up her new boyfriend; none of us have met him yet.

But Riker decided to sleep here tonight. I knocked on the door repeatedly but he didn't answer so I'll let him come out whenever. Once again on this crazy morning, my phone rang. "Hello?" "Hi!" I could here Ashley's mom say. "I'm on my way!" "Alright." "I hope Ashley isn't upset about all this. After finding out about her father, I'm not sure if she can handle too much attention.." "She will be okay." I reassured her. We hung up soon after.

I headed to the basement to grab some decorations. The only thing left down here was the mini studio. Riker took everything else. I headed back up stairs and heard Rydel. "Mom." She walked to me with a tall, slim brunette. "This is Chase. Chase this is my mom, Stormie." She pointed at me. "The pleasure is mine." Chase stuck out his hand. I tried to shake it while balancing the box on my arm. "Mom!" Rydel laughed and took the box. "We can decorate for you!" "Thank you so much." I smiled and ran back for the kitchen.

Rocky P.O.V

I stood at the window with my cup of coffee. I watched Ross walk in with a cake and Ryland following with a girl who liked like Ashley. I thought it was her at first, honestly.

I have a few cuts on my arms and my face from prying Riker off of Ross yesterday. The weird thing about this fight is that riker didn't call off the engagement. I don't know if he's doing it for the sake of today or if he just honestly believes this was all Ross's fault.

Ross slept at home while Ashley slept alone in her bed. Atleast, I think. I heard her crying last night and she could've been crying to Ross. We have kept a pretty good eye on her though because we don't want her falling back into old habits.

The girls have finally turned 18 this month so we are throwing a legitimate party for them that's a total surprise.

I guess I was deep into thought because Cat came up behind me and rubbed my back. "Are you okay, babe?" She looked up at me. "Yup." I answered and kissed her. It's been kinda weird spending all this time with Cat and not being on tour. I'm not sure what I want to do for a career yet.

"Let's decorate the house." I calmly said to my fiance. I know the guests are gonna ask to visit here. She smiled as we set up the kitchen and living room. Our rooms were still a mess but I didn't mind.

The pool table, tv, xbox, pictures, furniture, dining table, and rugs were all in place. It looked really good. "Lets get ready." I said to Cat, whom thought it was a normal day. I got rid of the forgotten coffee cup I left on the table and went upstairs.

Ross P.O.V
'No no no no.' I thought as I walked through the front door. My depression was coming back and I really didn't want to take my pills again. I handed my mom the cake and she kissed my cheek.

"So where's Riker?" I asked as I ran my fingers through my hair. "He's upstairs. I don't know what has gotten into him. His fiance has a birthday party and he suddenly blocks everyone out." Mom shrugged.

I ran upstairs and knocked on Riker's door. "Hey Riker, I know youre in there.." I began to sing. No answer. "Dude." I knocked louder. "Look, I'm sorry. She was just upset. I didn't even know about the dad thing until Rocky explained." I began to rub my black eye. Mom freaked when she saw it and I just told her that I fell.

"She loves you. She reminds me all the time. Don't be mad at her. Be mad at me."

I began to wonder if he was even in there. I began to twist the knob when I realized it was locked. "You can trust me." echoed throughout my mind and I felt a pang of guilt. I gave up and walked downstairs. 

"Have you talked to Ashley?" I looked to my right. "No." "I'll text Rocky to get her." Rydel said. Rydel and Ashley made up yesterday.  I think it's just because Rydel feels bad about Ash's dad but I'm not sure. I sat on the couch next to Ryland and his girlfriend as the guests started to arrive.

Ashley P.O.V
"You're the worst brother ever!" "I hate you!" " 'You can trust me?' " "What is wrong with you!" "Your tearing us apart!"

I moved around my bed as the words of yesterday scrambled through my head. I opened my eyes and sat up. I can't get the look on Riker's face when he ran in, out of my head.

I began to cry. Turned 18, my dad died, and then I cheated on a Lynch with a Lynch. But Ross is so amazing. At everything. I screamed into my pillow when Rocky ran in. He was dressed really nice. "Are you gonna get up?" He said. "No." I muffled into my pillow. He sat down next to me. "Mom says she needs to talk to us. All of us. So please get dressed nicely and come downstairs?" I looked up to see Rocky give me irresistible puppy dog eyes. "Fine." I whined as went to my closet. "Dress nice!" He chanted before leaving.

I'm the last person that should be going to the Lynchs house. So why was he so eager?

We walked up to the white door as I took a really deep breath. Rocky opened the door for me and Cat to walk in first. "SURPRISE!" The house seemed to have screamed at us as people jumped out of every corner. Catherine smiled ear to ear. "Guys! Stacy!... Drew!.... MOM! DAD!" She ran to her parents with tears. I walked in awkwardly and was greated with "finally 18" 's and "lookin' good kid." 's.

I knew that me and my mom would have to talk soon but I tried to avoid everyone for now. Well, besides one person.

Ross slowly walked up to me. "Riker won't leave his room." I sighed and looked down. "Let's go outside." He offered and took my hand. We went outback on the chairs. 

"I love him." I said, looking forward at the pool. "I know." Ross said, staring where I was. "And you." I sat up from the lawn chair and spun sideways so I was facing Ross. He didn't move.

"Why did yesterday happen?" "Because you were hurt.." "Ross. You dont think I used you, do you?" "Well.." "Well? I gave in because I wanted to. I love you and Riker equal. That's why I shouldnt be engaged." I huffed and sat back to my original position. 

"Or maybe you shouldn't be engaged to the wrong person." Ross said, not moving a inch.

Cat P.O.V

"I still cant believe you guys are here!" I smiled as I sat across the table from my parents. "Well we just wanted to see our little girl. I mean, our engaged little girl." My dad said as I fiddled with my ring. Rocky gave me it back after the last tour since when didn't need to hide it anymore. I'm not sure where Ashley's is.

Im not even sure where Ashley is.

Rocky walked up to me and began conversating with my dad over some video game. I smiled at my mom as she excused me from the table. I mouthed 'Thank you'. as I walked away.

I walked up to Stormie. "Hey!" "Hey! Oh theres the birthday girl!" She hugged me. "Thank you so much for this party. And my parents." "Well, of course, hon. Now, where's that other birthday girl?" Stormie looked around. "I was gonna ask the same thing. Well, do you know where Riker is?" "He might be in his room. Or maybe him and Ash left together?" "I doubt that.." I muttered.  "What?" Stormie asked.

"Nothing. Thanks again!" I kissed Stormie's cheek and ran upstairs. I knocked on Riker's door. "Riker Anthony Lynch. I know you know that I will find a way to open this door." He didn't answer so I went to the bathroom to grab a bobby pin and unlocked Riker's door and screamed at what I saw.
