Tell Me That You Love Me

Ellington P.O.V

I'm actually nervous. I'm not sure if this is a good idea. I haven't even seen Rydel in days so my thoughts have been going back and forth between her and Ashley. I know Rydel has been leaving to see her new boyfriend alot and it bothers me. But I can only imagine what it was like for her to date me while I loved Ashley.

I looked around and saw no one running after me so I knocked on Ashley's door. The door slowly started to open when I saw a skinny figure appear in the doorway. She stared me in the eyes and I smiled. Next thing I knew, the door was shut again.

"Ashley, common!" She opened the door again. "Fine." She let me in and we sat on the couch. She sat on the other end of the sectional so I could see her completely. "Are you m-" I began to ask when I saw a chain dangle on her neck. "Is that?.." I pointed. She sighed as she answered. "I figured I could where it as long as I was alone." She pointed in the direction of the Lynchs' house, where everyone currently was. I'm over there all the time too because I basically live there.

"Are you mad at me?" I inched towards her. She was already at the edge of the couch so she couldn't move away without completely getting off the couch. Which she didn't.

"No. I'm just hurt." She looked away from my face. I had a chance to move closer and took it. Now listen, I understand she loves Riker and I don't have the intention to take her away from him. But if she, by chance, realizes that I'm the right guy, then I won't protest.

"Well why are you hurt?" "Because you hurt me." "I only gave you the necklace back." "Basically saying that you're giving me your love back." "Do you want my love?" "No. I love Riker." "Why?" "He makes me happy." "So why are you hurt?" "Because I miss you, Ellington!" She quickly covered her mouth and stood up.

I stood up and looked her in the eyes. "I miss you too, baby."

Ross P.O.V

Ashley never replies to my texts. I know she misses me too but I decided to give her some space. I've been venting alot to Rydel who now has a developing hatred for Ash. I don't blame Rydel, but Ashley can't help that we all like her.

Ryland actually got over her though, well kinda. He's dating this girl from school. The whole group teases him about it because she looks exactly like Ashley.

We waited five minutes after Ratliff took off until Riker flipped. He ran towards the door when Catherine yelled. "Seriously Riker?" He stood in the doorway and stared forward. "I just have that feeling."

I did too, but I wasn't gonna say anything. Because if I couldn't have Ashley, I'd rather her be with Ratliff. That way she isn't dating my brother. 

I followed Riker and told everyone else to wait up. "What's going on?" Rydel asked as she walked downstairs.  "Ashley." Rocky answered. "Of course." Rydel scoffed.

Riker walked right in. "Dude." I yelled.  Then I remembered that he lives here too. It's weird going through the door, I'm used to the window. They were both were no where in sight. "Ratliff!" I yelled and my voice just echoed. "Babe!" Riker yelled as I rolled my eyes.

Ashley ran from the back door crying. She looked up at us and started running in our direction. I waited for her to hug Riker when she ran to me. I looked down as she cried into my jacket. "Ash." I said to her, letting her know that I'm Ross, not Riker. "He's gone." She sobbed. "What?" Riker asked. She continued crying. "What?" I asked her and she answered. "I told Ratliff that we couldn't be together so he jumped the fence and disappeared and I dont want him to get hurt." She said fast.

I patted her hair. "Well let's go!" Riker yelled. His face was getting red. "Maybe you should gather up the gang and I'll stay here with Ashley." I offered. He just gave me a look. "You can trust me. Now go!"

Riker nodded and ran out the door.
