Easy Love

Cat P.O.V

A hike? Are you kidding me! Hikes are so boring. I can tell Ashley isnt excited either. We all grab our "hiking gear" and head West. Or East. I really dont know. I keep tripping over rocks so Rocky had to hold my hand while walking up the trail.

So this morning Ashley and Ross had a talk out back. I was inside with Riker and he kept getting nervous so I tried to rush Ashley. What is going on with that girl? She keeps going back and forth between Riker and Ross. And now Ryland wont shut up about her. I feel bad shes stuck in the middle of all this but she caused it upon herself.

"How long are we walkingggggg." I moaned. "Here!" Ratliff said looking up from his campus map. "This is beautiful!" Ashley said letting go of Rikers hand and walking to the front of the group. "We were not here last time!" I shrieked and ran towards the clear blue waterfall. We all dropped our stuff and ran towards the water.

We were all splashing eachother and playing water games like a family again. Everyone was getting along. Ryland was being nice to Ashley again, Ross and Riker were joking, and im not mad at Ashley anymore. Well, for now.

Riker P.O.V

Im still unsure of what Ross said to Ashley this morning. Its none of my business really, but I want to know. But being here at this mysterious waterfall while we were all getting along, I didnt want to ruin this moment. I stared to get an anxiety attack, but I looked over at Ashley. She was laughing while Ross was splashing her. I love her. I really love her. I felt myself calm down and I swam over to Ashley and Ross and helped Ross splash her. She went underwater and came back up and we were instantly splashed by the group and everyone kept laughing.

It was getting dark so we decided to dry off and relax. We laid out five huge blankets so we could look up at the stars for a bit. We've been here all day. And I was totally comfortable with Ashley wanting to lay in between me and ross.

She fell asleep after twenty minutes and Ross offered to carry her in. I understand his feelings for her so I let him do it while I carried our stuff. Cat fell asleep too so Rocky had to carry her. Im happy atleast one of our relationships isnt complicated. I can tell Rocky really loves cat, they deserve each other.

Ross was ahead of the group so he got to the cabin alittle before me. Ashley was awake when we arrived. "Good morning babe." I joked. "Haha." She teased. Cat woke up too. "Im bored!" Rydel said. "Lets play spin the bottle?" Rocky shrugged. Cat punched his arm. "Im kidding." He said before kissing her. "Well..." Ross commented. "No." I pointed at him. "Truth or dare!" Ryland said. "Yes!" I said.

Ashley P.O.V

TRUTH OR DARE. REALLY? I have way too many secrets to spill in front of these people. Im shaking so much. "I dont want to play." I raised my hand. "Your playing." Cat forced. "So whos starting?" Rocky asked. "I will!" Ratliff chanted. "Riker. Truth or dare?" Riker paused before saying "dare." Ratliff tapped his chin. "I dare you to wear one of rydels tutus alllll night. Have fun cuddling, Ash." Ratliff winked at me. Rydel ran upstairs to grab a tutu and gave Riker a blue sparkly one. "You look hot." I laughed at Riker. "Thanks." He tried to said as feminine as possible.

The group just kept circling around with truths of "First crush, awkwardest moment, dumbest pick up line" and dares of "eating pant sundaes, skinny dipping, and wearing uncomfortable clothes." It was getting later into the game so we decided to get more intense.

It was all fun and games until it was my turn. "Ashley." Rocky said. He paused. "Are you a virgin?" My heart got stuck in my throat. I know Rocky and Cat are waiting for the right moment, which could be any day now, but im not like that. And I cant lie to them. I took a quick glance at Ross and said "No." The group stopped so suddenly that they looked like manicans. I never even told Cat that, and shes my best friend.

"What?" Riker demanded. "What?" I snapped. "You never told me that." He breathed. "Sorry?" Was the only thing I could think of. "Who?" Cat screamed. I looked into Ross's eyes for permission but that was a dead give away to the group. "What the fuck!" Ryland stood up. "Well Rocky asked! Was I supposed to lie?" I stood up too. "Dont blame this on me!" Rocky screamed. "Im not blaming you." I said angrily in a calm voice.

The only person whoms opinion I cared about was Riker's, who just sat there silently. He got up, ripped off the tutu, and went into his room. I shortly followed and tried to go into the room and realized that the door was locked. "Really Riker?" Silence. "Grow up!" I screamed. I walked down stairs as everyone walked up stairs, not looking at me. Cat was at the bottom and glared at me. "Thanks for not trusting me." She scoffed and went up stairs. Ross sat downstairs, expecting me. "Can I sleep in your room?" I asked nervously. "Of course. I dont have two beds though.." "I know." I said.
