Chapter 10: June
Everything went on lockdown. I didn't have a position to go to like everyone else, so I went to control to find Autumn and May. I walked into control and Liz's eyes widened.
"June, you can't be in here."
"What?"
"I'm sorry, but you have to go back to your room."
"Why can't I be in here? May's here. You're here."
"That's different. Please go, June. Before you get in trouble with someone." She practically pushed me out of the room and into the hallway.
It was because of my age. Biz and Liz were only 5 years older than me, but I had been training longer than them. All these stupid age requirements. I ran down the hallway into my room and I slammed the door behind me.
