I ain't never been happy wit the lifestyle I lived. The lifestyle I live is what had got me in this cold as cell writin my mom letters , gettin 10 minute calls instead of holdin a full conversation. Only bein able to touch her hand and not even hug her. I told her not to ever visit me cause I don't need her to see me like this. I been in this Bitch 3 goin on 4 years and I finally get to go home today and get my Shit back together. A nigga like me, could never quit. I'm 23 years old and I'm not goin nowhere. I had so many chances to get me and my moms out of Brooklyn. I got her that fat crib and that nice car she always wanted though. I made sure she was all set before I came in this Bitch. My motto was always eat or get ate. My moms told me to promise her ima get my Shit together . I a get my Shit together but I ain't gone keep no promises I can't keep. Truth is I can't leave this street Shit alone. Maybe I will, in due time. But right now I'm focused on gettin this money and nobody can tell me Shit. "Banks your out" the guard yelled to me. "Alright boy" cam yelled to me. "Alright man. You be coo. I appreciate you lookin out Ever since I been In here so I got you. Know that" I said and he dapped me up. "Ight man" he said. I walked out the cell and sighed and shook my head. "How it feel" the guard asked me. "I feel like a million bucks my dude" I said and he laughed. "But look like a dollar" he said and I laughed and turned towards him. "Stay up alright" he said. "I don't wanna see you back here" he said. "Yes sir" I said as I dapped him up. I walked out the prison and smirked while lookin around. "Damn" I said to myself. I walked around the parking lot lookin at the other niggas that got released with they families. Shit Im just ready to get away from here. "Ayo" somebody yelled and I looked to my left and seen this dude that was in there wit me. "Be coo" he said. "Copy" I said and he nodded. I looked straight and smirked when I seen Ashanti runnin towards me. I walked towards her and opened my arms and she jumped in mine and wrapped her legs around my waist. "Oh my god" she said and I rubbed her back and kissed her cheek. "Yo I feel like I'm dreamin" she said. "You ain't. Lets get up outta here" I said and I let her down and put my arm around her shoulder. "Where koby" I asked. "In the car with my brother" she said and I nodded. "You look good" I said and she smiled. "All you need is a hair cut. You a be back lookin jawnful" she said and I laughed. We got in the car and ant looked at me. "Welcome home baby. How it feel nigga" he yelled. "Shit words can't even explain man." I said and she turned in her seat and looked at koby and he was sleep. "Do he know about me comin home" I asked. "Nope it was suppose to be a surprise but he fell asleep on the way here" she said. "Baby" she said while shakin him. He stirred in his sleep. "Koby" she said and his eyes opened. "What" he asked. He looked at me and I smiled and his eyes watered up. He unbuckled his seat belt and I pulled him into a hug. "I missed you dad" he said in a cracked voice and I nodded and she wiped her tears away. "I missed you too nigga. You got big on me man" I said and he nodded and held onto me. Shit I ain't let him go either. Worst thing the streets ever did was take me away from my son. I missed him more than anything. Bein back wit em make me wanna change. Even though me and Ashanti ain't together we always kept it coo for koby. When it come down to it she the realest person I know, and people say you can't be friends wit yo baby moms. Me and her hella close. He literally cried his self to sleep. I wrapped my arms around him and laid my head against the window and closed my eyes. I feel half way complete. All I'm missin is my money so I gotta get back on my feet soon.
