I was suppose to be meeting seaton as this place. I been here for 10 minutes and he didn't come. I sighed and grabbed my purse and I stood up. "Damn you was finna leave me" I heard him say and I turned towards him and smirked. "Hey" I said as I hugged him. "Wassup" he said and I took a deep breath and sat down and he did too. "What is this place" I asked. "Aunt jens" he said. "What is aunt jens" I said and he stared at me. "Yo you been in Harlem for a year and never went to aunt jens" he said. "Nope" I said through laughs and he shook his head. "You trippin" he said and he licked his lips and I stared at him. He's so perfect. He looked up from his menu and I looked away. "You keep starin at me" he said and I smirked and he looked around the restaraunt and I stared at him. "Ready" the waitress asked and he nodded and looked towards me and looked away. "Wassup" he said and She smiled. "I didn't even notice you baby. When did you get out" she asked. "I came home two days ago" he said. "Well it's good to have you back home. What can I get for you" she asked. "You know what I want" he said. "I sure do. What about you" she asked me. "Same thing" he said for me and I nodded. "Who is she" she asked him. "Mariah" he said. "She's pretty" she said. "Thank you" I said while smiling and she smiled and nodded. "I'll be back with your food" she said as she walked away. "Who's she" I asked. "Aunt Jen" he said and I slowly nodded. "Oh" I said. "She annoying" he said and I laughed. "She seems nice" I said. "Her and my moms best friends. Back in the day before I went to jail they a follow me around cause my moms didn't trust me. That wasn't a good look for me because of the Shit I did. and all the weight my name carried so I a always get pissed. But I know my moms just wanted to keep me safe" he said and i nodded. "Can I know now" I asked. "What" he asked. "Why you were in jail" I said. "Aw yeah." He said. "At the club you told me you heard somethin bout me. What you hear" he asked. "That you were a dealer and you killed people" I said and he nodded and put his hands in his jacket pocket. "There go yo answer" he said and I nodded and looked away. "You not gone talk to me nomore now" he asked making me look at him. "Yeah. What makes you say that" I asked. "Na" he said. "I just figured that I'm not yo type of dude and you wouldn't wanna talk to me nomore cause I still do the Shit I use to do" he said. "I don't care what you've done. Or what your gonna do I'm still gonna talk to you. I like you" I said and he smirked and laughed. "You like me?" he said. "Yes sir" I said. "I don't know why Shit fuckin around wit a nigga like me you a end up dead or in a warehouse tied up" he said. "So. Maybe I'm not your type. Maybe you don't like me" I said. "I do like you" he said. "Well it better not be a waste of my time" I said and he laughed. "Here you go" she said as she came back with our food. "Thanks" I said and she smiled and walked away. "I'm not gonna eat all of this" I said. "I know" he said. "So tone. Where you meet him at" he asked. "When I first came here a year ago my cousin dragged me to this club and he approached me and after that it just went on from there. biggest mistake of my life" I said. "Why" he asked. "Maybe if you swallow your food first I'd tell you" I said and he laughed. "I'm serious" I said and he smirked. "My bad ma Damn" he said and I laughed. "No. Stuff was good. To me it was too good. I don't know what happened but he got real mad over the months and he'd take it out on me. First time in my life I ever got hit by a man. like All my past relationships were okay. That one was horrible" I said and he stared at me and I stopped eating. "What" I asked. "Nothin. Its just somethin about you" he said. "What" I asked. "I ont know" he said and I nodded and looked away and I felt him staring at me. "Seaton" I said. "Alright I quit" he said. I looked out the window we were sitting in front of and sighed. I pushed my hair back and thought about how I might be doing the wrong thing by getting myself into something with him. Then again it feels right. All I do is smile when I'm around him. And I don't smile alot. "You ight" I heard him ask and I looked at him and nodded. "Yup" I said. "You lyin" he said as he pushed his plate to the side and put his hands on the table. "Wassup" he said. "Am I wasting my time" I asked. "On what" he asked. "You" I said. "Do you think you is" he asked and I stared at him. "I don't know" I said. "I like you. Alot" I said. "Its whatever you feel. You know. I can't speak for you" he said. "You ready" he asked and I nodded. He put the money on the table and we walked out. "Ima call you" he said. I smirked and nodded and he walked away. "Shit" I mumbled. I pushed my hair back and walked towards his car. "Hey"I said and he looked at me. "Wassup" he said. "Come here" I said. He walked over and stood against his car. I smirked and he stared at me. "Another date" I said and he licked his lips and smirked. "That was a date" he asked. "I guess" I said and he smiled. "Ight" he said. "Where" he asked. "You pick" I said and he nodded and walked towards me. He put his arms around my neck and hugged me and I wrapped mine around his waist. "I'm not wasting my time anymore" I said and he looked at me and smiled. I smirked and he kissed my lips. "Wassup killa" a dude said and he broke the kiss. "Yo" he said. He moved his arms from around my neck but I held onto him. "Don't be late this time" I said and he smirked. "I won't. I swear on yo life" he said and I laughed and kissed his cheek then I let him go. "ima get at you" he said as he walked on the other side of the car and opened his door. "See you" I said and he smirked and got in his car and I walked to mine and got in. I pulled out the parking lot and drive off.
