I didn't sleep last night. After all the Shit I heard on the phone I couldn't. He promised me stuff between us wouldn't end but I'm ending it. This is one time in my life I won't be stupid. "You look tired girl. Been up all night" chelsie asked me as I put my hair in a ponytail. "Yep" I said and she shook her head. "Workin here you can't do that. They call you in early too. You gone have a long day boo" she said. "Don't remind me" I said and she laughed. "Customer number one. You take it" she said. "I got you" I said and I walked over to the table. "What can I get for you today" I asked and he smirked at me. "You" he said and I laughed. "Sorry sir but I'm not on the menu" I said and he laughed. "Yeah and that's fucked up too. But let me get a number 4" he said. "Yup and drink" I asked. "Milk" he said. "Alrighty. I'll be right back with your food" I said and he nodded. I walked into the kitchen. "Yo what he want" Shawn asked. "Number 4. Glass of milk" I said and he nodded. "Waitress" I heard him yell and I walked back out. "Yes sir" I said. "Can I get a hot cup of water for my silver ware" he asked. "Yep" I said as I walked away. I heard the door open and I got his cup and walked out the kitchen. I looked and seen seaton. He nodded at me and I looked away. "Anything else" I asked. "Yo number" he said and I smirked and walked away. "Ya boo here" chelsie said. "Yeah" I said. "You my friend. Tell me. Spill the juice" she said while poppin her gum. "You needa stop bein so nosey baby" shawn said. "You needa find another job baby" she said and he flicked her off and she smiled. "So" she said. "I'll call you and talk to you about it" I said. "Mhm. Alright. Don't be lyin alright." She said as she scratched her hair. "Yeah" I said through laughs and she smirked. I played with my fingers and sighed. I'm not gonna talk to him. That's for sure. "Go take that order baby" she said. "Chelsie" I said and she smirked. "Alright" I said. I sighed and walked out the kitchen. I walked over to his table and looked down as I pulled my notepad and pen out. "What can I get for you" I asked and he stared at me and I avoided eye contact than finally looked at him. "Aw a number 6" he said and I nodded and wrote it down. "Drink" I asked. "Orange juice" he said and I nodded. "K she'll bring your stuff to you" I said and I was about to walk away when he grabbed my arm and I looked at my arm and slowly moved his hand. "Can I talk to you" he asked. "No thank you" I said and I walked away. "Nope. Mm. Nope. Go talk" she said. "No" I said. "I will fire Ya ass. Go" she said. "Shit you better go ma. She really will" tj said as he made the food. "Alright" I said. I walked back out the kitchen and sighed. I sat across from him and looked out the window. "Now you wanna talk" he said. "I don't want to do anything. She's making me. So what" I asked as I looked at him. "Why you actin like that towards me" he asked and I laughed. "I ain't laughin yo" he said. "I am because your a joke. and you think I'm a joke" I said. "Speak to me" he said. "I don't know who did what or if you accidentally called me. Or purposely called me but I got a call. I'm calling your name, saying hello. Didn't hear anything but moaning and yelling." I said and he stared at me. "Is she better than me" I said, saying what the girl said. "Who" I said. "Your girlfriend" I said and he shook his head and clenched his jaws. "Took you a couple of seconds to answer but you said yes." I said. "Your no different than the others and you really had me fooled" I said through laughs. "Like you really did. And it sucks because I actually thought you were different. you promised me this would never end" I said. "It don't got to" he said as he looked at me. I nodded and stared at him. "It does" I said. "I refuse to be stupid again." I said as I stood up. "So this" I said. "Is over and done with. I'll delete your number right along with the time we spent together and you have a nice and safe life. And I'm sorry about all the things that have happened and I wish you nothing but the absolute best" I said and I smirked and walked away. "Did you talk" chelsie asked. "Yep" I said. I held onto the counter because I felt light headed and dizzy. "You alright" she asked. "Mhm" I said as I held my head. "No she not" tj said. "Let her go home" shawn said. "Yeah go home boo. I'll call you" she said and she handed me my purse. "Thank you" I said and she nodded. I walked out the kitchen. "Leavin already" the guy asked. "Yep" I said. "Can I get yo number before you do" he asked. Seaton stared at me. "Sorry but no" I said. "Word it's like that. Ight" he said and I walked away. I walked outside and was walking towards my car when somebody grabbed me. "Mariah I'm sorry" I heard seaton say. I sighed and turned around. "Okay" I said. "I don't know who called you. Shit I don't know. I only fucked Ashanti because that's what I needed. I was goin through Shit. still am. My moms died last night.I was lost, confused. Everything in the book. I only said she was better than you cause I knew she was gone keep buggin me yo. I'm sorry baby" he said and I stared at him. "What you want me to do. I made that promise and I ain't finna break it" he said. He licked his lips and I looked down and smirked and he laughed. "Don't trip yo. You got me now" he said and I lifted my head up. He stared at me and sighed. "Ight ight" he said while lookin down. I sighed and poked my lip out. "Dammit seaton" I said and he looked up and smirked. I wrapped my arms around him and he sighed and kissed my cheek. "I'm sorry" he said. "Its fine" I said. He held me tighter and I rubbed his back.
