Chapter 27: Requested Troops

Back at the Hidden Leaf Village we return with the 6th Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Currently he is sitting at his desk writing out some paperwork. "Hmm, maybe Team Asuma can go out on this mission in the Land of Waves. (Looks at other papers) I know you are there Edward." Naruto said as he looked up to see Edward by the door. "Nice to see you as well Hokage, I heard that Nec visited you not long ago. He said something about giving the Hidden Leaf protection?" Edward asked him. Naruto places his pencil on the desk and stands up from his chair, walking over to Edward. "Yes, and you being here means that Link has left for Albion. Am I correct?" Naruto said. "Yes he has. Nec wanted you to take his place in Middle-Earth to lead everyone. In return he promised that protection will be granted upon your village." Edward then stated. "Mhm. Have you brought them?" Naruto then asked. Edward walked over to the doors and opened them, a couple of leaguesman came in. Some were very familiar to Naruto. "Mort? Port? Chappy and Chauchmar? Rouge too? (Looks at the other three) I don't know those people." Naruto said. "I was with you back in Fiore! How come you can't remember me?? It's me, David Strife! You know the uncle to Matt and Arno?" David had overreacted. The other leaguesman laughed, and so did Naruto. "(Laughs) Sorry about that. It's that I had my mind occupied lately. But who are the other two next to you?" Naruto then asked. The Demon lady stepped forward to Naruto. "I am Serena, David is my boyfriend. I am here to help you out, little fox boy." She introduced. "Don't mind Serena's appearance, she does that alot. Thats what a Succubus does from time to time. (Laughs) By the way my name is Prince Matthews Wallace, I am an old friend to Link and Arno." He introduced. Naruto was backed to his desk with Serena getting closer to him...a bit too close. "Uhh, excuse me Serena? But could you just step back a bit? Your boobs are kinda close to my face.. Not that I don't mind, its just that I have a girlfriend. (Laughs nervously)" Serena stepped back from Naruto and walked back to David. "Someone can't appreciate a Demoness's presence. Too bad for you, (Gets closer to David) I got myself a British Elemental for my life." She said as he fixed his tie. "And I don't mind her presence one bit. (Laughs) But don't worry Naruto, we can help protect the Leaf Village while your away." David said. "Plus, we did after all save the Hidden Sand..well we ended up destroying the village in the process. But still, the civilians are saved." Mort said. "Nice to see you all again. I appreciate that you will protect the village, it means a lot to me." Naruto said as he walked towards Edward. "There is but one more thing that I must ask of you Naruto. Its a dire emergency." Edward said to him. "What may that be?" Naruto asked. Edward sat down and told Naruto about Tartaros and the attack on De Magna Helden. "Oh my god.. That's terrible.. At least a couple of people survived, but still.." Naruto walked on over to his desk and sat back down. Edward walked to Port and the others, "Do you guys mind if you can wait outside? (Port and the others agreed, they leave) Naruto, its not over yet. We can still take back Fiore and to aid the resistance that is currently facing off against them! We just need the aid or support of the Shinobi Alliance! Could you get this deed done?" Edward pleaded to him. "You do realize that you are asking me to borrow the other Kage's troops, which I have no power over. You are going to have to bring it up with them at the Village Hidden in the Clouds. That is what they made there HQ. (Stands back up and walks over to his window) I however will already put my name into making this happen. You just need to discuss with the others about making this possible." Naruto explained. "Thank you Naruto. (Opens portal) Just go through that portal and you will be in Middle-Earth, where your friends are." Edward said as Naruto walks to the portal. "I guess I will be seeing you soon Edward. Tell the rest of the Kage I said hello." Naruto runs into the portal, and closes. Edward goes outside of the Hokage's office, "David and Serena! (They run over) We are going to the Village Hidden in the Clouds." Edward said. "Alrighty then. Shall we be off?" David asked. Edward opened a portal, letting David and Serena to head in first then Edward went in.
