Prologue 9: Pool Party

June 3rd, 3027
2:30pm

Shortly after the Heroes meeting with Sektor, they went into the mansion's pool for some good relaxation. Matt was lounging on his floating inflatable couch. Link was just swimming in the pool in general. Then there was Arno up on the diving board preparing for a dive. "Here I go. 3..2..1. (Jumps off the diving board) GERONIMO!!" He shouted as he plummeted into the water. A slightly large splash went everywhere and part of which hit Matt as he was relaxing. "(Splash) What the-? Arno! I am trying to have some perfectly good relaxation here!" Matt shouted. Arno came back up from the water, "(Shakes head and moves hair away from eyes) Sorry there bro! You do its a pool right? People get wet, you gotta deal." Arno said. Link dived to the bottom of the pool and rose back up as well. "(Shakes head, moves hair) He is right Matt. You will need to deal with the splashing of water. Especially when your brother is a Water Elemental now." Link stated. "(Sighs) Alright thens. (Summons a tiny shield of air surrounding him) This should work." Matt said. "Whoa! That's cool! Could I do that?" Arno began to wonder. The doors to the pool room opened and three members came by, who Link and Arno have known for quite a long time. "Hey there guys! Haven't seen you in a while!" Said Prince Matthews. Link and Arno looked and saw them. "Matthews? Wow it really has been a while! Months mainly." Link said. "Even Father Tim and Nec are here! Wow its like a reunion with the original trio!" Arno said. "Yes it is. Radiant Garden was the place all those years ago. Man, I still have the soars from that fight we had those years back. (Laughs)" Laughed Father Tim. "Well you needed a beat after what Maleficent did to you. So it was for the sake of goodness." Nec reminisced back those years ago. Matt looks at Matthews, "You remind me of someone but I can't put my fingers on it." He said as he inspected the prince's looks. "Same to you Commander. But I am sure its nothing. Could we join you for a swim as well?" Mathews asked. "Sure. But don't you need to get your bathing suits?" Link said. The three of them tossed off there clothes revealing shorts and Father Tim with a swimming noodle. "We already were ready. (Laughs)" Laughed Nec. They jumped into the pool at once, causing a big wave of water hitting the heroes. "(Rises back up) Woo! This water is just right for perfect relaxation!" Father Tim said. Then a shadow appears from Nec, rising out of the water. When it completely formed, it was Chauchmar. "Thanks for the ride Nec, I didn't feel like walking here." He said. "Anytime Chauchmar, just remember the next time it will cost you taxes." Nec said. Everyone laughed including Chauchmar as they continued to relax in the cool water. "I hope this will be all the people who decide to come. It's getting crowded enough as is." Matt said.

Within the next hour...

The whole pool room had alot more people join in, such as old allies to the heroes. Port, Mort, Chappy, Rouge, David and even Edward and Archangel had shown up. "Okay, I may have spoken too soon about that." Matt then said as he slowly floats down into the deep part of the pool. Link was chatting with Edward and Archangel about some things regarding the Divine. Arno was chatting with Rouge and Prince Matthews. Matt was talking with Mort and Nec. It was all of a good time, not worrying about the dark things to soon come. But there was a tiny ruckus at the party. "Come on Paige, we should try and go out some time. Dinner at the new restaurant that had opened here, the Broken Shalleiugh I believe it was called." The man named Clockwork said. "Um hello? Paige is my girlfriend. How many times do I have to put that into your head?" Said the man named Johnny Sparrow. "Really? You don't seem like her type that much. Plus I am always right on time when your late on everything." Clockwork said. Sparrow pointed at Clockwork, "Name one time I have been late!" He insisted. "Oh, I can name plenty. You were late to Angel and Kälte's wedding. You were late to the De Magna Helden opening in Fiore. You were late when we all had a meeting regarding the Divine. You were beyond late to your own birthday party. Shall I go on?" Clockwork had mentioned. "(Sighs) No. But still, she is my girl. Not yours." Sparrow said. The woman they were fighting over was Paige, who is the girlfriend to Johnny Sparrow. "Really you two? I am trying to tan here." She said as she relaxed herself on the lounge chair. "Yes ma'am." The two men said. Link walked on over to them, "Hey guys. You three alright over here?" He asked. "Oh hi! Your the Hero, Link! I am Clockwork and this is Johnny Sparrow, quite the soldier. And this fine lovely lady is Paige Rain." Clockwork had introduced. "Hello all. Just try not to get in trouble please." Link said, then he jumped back into the pool. "Wow, Link the Hero. I can't believe that was him." Paige said as she watched him swim back to his friends. "Hey! (Paige looks at him) Don't get any thoughts." Sparrow said. Paige and Clockwork laughed. They all were having fun and yet there was something still lingering. Something foul across the universes...
