Chapter 75: To the Past (Part 1)

In the War Room of Minas Tirith, Ryuga Dragonskin and his daughter along with the Fellowship meet together. It's now time to devise a strategy of what to do on this new quest of theirs. "Alright, first order of business who are we sending to the past and who stays in the present?" Ryuga asked among them. "Well lets see. So far we have two and that includes you and Clockwork. How much could you bring along?" Matt asked him. "About five more people, then we would be at our limit of who to bring to the past. No more than that amount." Clockwork stated. "So who would care to join us on this mission?" Ryuga added. The group looked at each other and began talking as well. Then Alex stepped forward, "I would like to join in, for I do have some experience with the past of this land." He said to both Ryuga and Clockwork. "Then welcome aboard Uncle. Four more and then we are full." Ryuga stated. Once Alex stepped up, Link then moved up as well. "I am going to join in as well. Since you did talk with me about this, I should do the job as well." He said to them. "The mighty Hero. (Scoffs) Of course you had to come along." Alex scoffed at Link. Link looked up at Alex, "Well if I do recall I have to be at your side, at all times." Link reminded him. Alex replies, "Ah yes. I do remember now, to be honest I thought that you wouldn't. (Looks at Ryuga) So then three more?" Alex asked his nephew. "Yes. Three more people!" Ryuga said aloud to the group. Then Necromancer stepped up, "I have my faith in you Link, but with Alex and the son of the one who killed Sora, I rather come along to be safe." He said to them. "Thank you Nec. (Looks at Alex) Is that alright with you?" Link asked him. "It is fine, I have trusted Nec as a small friend to me. He and you won't be harmed, well by my hands." Alex smirked as he said that. Nec walked over by Link and stood by him. "Two more, who else would care to join along?" Clockwork asked them. Then Arno stepped forward, "I am coming along. If there may be a slight chance that in the past we come across Sor- I mean Vanitas, we need to save him." He stated. Gray and Roxas walk up to him, "You going to be alright without us?" Gray asked him, in a worried tone. "Don't worry my kadan. I will always have you in my heart." Arno replied, and then kissed Gray on the cheek. He then looks over to Roxas. "We just got reunited and we are going to be separated again? Why do you have to do this?" Roxas asked him. "Roxas, I know its been a very long time of us being apart. But its my duty as a hero to save people. (Puts hand on Roxas' shoulder) To save you and my friends as well." Arno said to him. Roxas then gave a hug to Arno, and walked back. Arno turned around and then stepped forward to the group. "I am ready for this." He said to them. "Welcome aboard Captain." Ryuga said to him. "Now who will be the last one to join in on this venture?" Clockwork asked the group. Nobody was going up, or talking. Then a voice came from the corner of the room, "I will tag along with you all." The voice said, which happened to be a man. Everyone turned around to see a familiar face standing there. "Well, well, well. If it isn't the great spy of the League of Angels." Alex stated. The man came out of the corner to reveal that it was Trace. "Hello again everyone. I was in the neighborhood and thought I could drop by. (Takes out an pocket watch) Heard you taking a trip to the past, and I was thinking of tagging along with you." Trace explained. Clockwork, David, Sparrow, Nec, Serena, David and Kälte were shocked that he would be here. "By chance Trace, why are you here in Middle-Earth?" Sparrow asked him. Trace looked at John and turned his head back to the six. "Then Trace, welcome aboard to our troop. We have the seven we need, and now we need to plan this all out." Ryuga stated. The seven of them, along with the rest of the fellowship gathered around the large map of Middle-Earth. "Now that we have our group, we still need to talk about what we are going to come across in the past. Which I leave to Mithrandir to explain." Alex said, and Gandalf then began to talk. "Alright everyone. Seeing as to how our seven chosen warriors are going to the past, they must know when they need to show up. Which is approximately 65 years ago, when the battle of the Lonely Mountain had taken place. Me and Legolas were there, so that is why we can't come along. But I do have some information regarding where the Arkenstone is." Gandalf began to say. "Wait before you explain, what exactly is the Arkenstone?" Arno asked him. "It's this very bright diamond that was mined within the halls of Erebor. The Heart of the Mountain, the Kings Jewel, these are mere names that were given to it. But the holder of the Arkenstone was granted so much popularity, it became the right to rule among the Dwarves. Thror, the King of Erebor had this Jewel with him and was visited by many people even the Elven King of the Woodland Realm." Gandalf explained, but Legolas began to speak. "My father, King Thranduil, had been to Erebor to lay his respects to Thror. The peace between the Elves and the Dwarves didn't last long. Cause it all changed when that day came." Legolas said. "What day?" Link asked. Alex then began to talk, "Well child, they are referring to the large dragon that ended up taking Erebor as its own playhouse. (Looks at Link) Smaug." Alex said. "A dragon? Now this is catching my interest, please do talk more." Arno said as he was stroking his non-existant beard. "Smaug had come to the village of Dale, burned it to the ground, and then headed towards the Kingdom of Erebor. The Dwarves tried to defend their kingdom but they could not succeed, for Smaug was a very difficult opponent. As Alex said, the Dwarves were forced to leave Erebor due to the dragon claiming all the treasure inside-including the Arkenstone." Gandalf explained. "So the Arkenstone is inside Erebor when we head to the past?" Nec said. "Yes. I am sure Ryuga here will give you more details upon your arrival. So you shouldn't worry." Legolas said. "Alrighty. Now if this is in the past, would that mean that they will meet with Sauron?" Aragorn brought up. "Sauron? You mean the big baddie who you guys defeated?" Matt asked them. "Yes. That is one other thing you must be worried about when you head to the past. Sauron was gaining his powers back after the confrontation he had those ten thousand years ago. Meaning you will be coming across many orcs and other creatures of evil, such as Azog the Defiler." Gandalf began to say. "So evil still brews in your land even in the past. (Exhales) This will be fun." Link said. "That is all the information that we need to be concerned about, but there is one last thing that we need to address. What will you all do when we are in the past?" Clockwork asked them. "That's a very good question, but I believe I have that covered." Matt said. "You do?" Both Arno and Link said in unison. "Yes. We are going to still check out Mordor and finish our quest still. I am not giving that quest up just for a visit into the past. Then there is the Dark Abyss that is still trying to hunt us down, we have to deal with them. And the barricade defenses that we need to finish. We have our jobs, you have yours." Matt explained. Everyone was silent for the moment, and then David said something. "Now that is my nephew! Getting things already planned out before anything even happened yet!" He shouted. "Good one big bro!" Audrey shouted in excitement. "You really sure about this Matt?" Arno asked his bro. "I have Zelda, Naruto, Cloud, Gray and all of these guys at my side. We can defend ourselves quite fine. But your the ones who really need to worry, after all one single mistake in the past will have dramatic consequences in the future." Matt then explained. "He is right. I don't want to lose you guys and all of them." Naruto said. "I go with Naruto, and Matt when I say this. Don't fuck up." Cloud stated. "Link, your ancestors have time traveled before, you should know what to do." Zelda said to him. "Arno, kick some ass. (Winks)" Gray said. The fellowship then began to give words advice to the seven that are going to the past, so that they can keep their spirits up. "With all these kind things being said, we must head off. (Looks at Clockwork) Ready to begin the spell?" Ryuga asked Clockwork. "Yes I am. Link, Arno, Trace, Alex and Necromancer please hold each other's hands in a circle formation around us." Clockwork instructed them. The five followed the instructions and did what they were told. "Everyone I think it would be wise for us to stand back a bit." Black said to them, and they all stepped back about two feet away from them. Ryuga and Clockwork then began inciting the spell that would send them back in time. "(Both of them) Et Chrono Ta se xhe to ka shè zob sho wâ je to Ma!" With the spell incited, the five began glowing with a glowish sparkle and then disappeared from view. "Alright everyone. (Walks up forward and looks at comrades) They are doing their job, and we must do ours. Fight against the Dark Abyss as we reach Mordor. Then we are to go straight back to were Yoko and the others are. As of now, I will be leading you all. So what say we fight evil and get our people back!" Matt shouted in inspiration. The others shouted out, "Huzzah!!" And then then all left the room. The Heroes have made their move, but what of the Villains?
