Doctor Day

I wake up to the sound of a crying Mackenzie. "Don't worry Taylor. I got it. You can go back to sleep." "Thanks Alexa." I say while Alexa picks up Mackenzie and takes her to the kitchen. Falling back asleep I see that Zach isn't there anymore. He must've went home.

Walking up again, Zach and Alexa are trying to calm Mackenzie down again. "Hey guys what's wrong?" "Mackenzie won't stop crying again." "Ok. I know what's wrong." "I say taking her from Zach.

"What?" "She's sick." "Then how did she go back to sleep earlier?" "She probably just tired herself out from crying so much. Lets go to the doctor." "Ok I'll get my keys, you guys get your phone's and Mackenzie's stroller car seat combo." "K."

Putting Mackenzie in her car seat, I buckle her up and get in the car. "Ok we're ready." I say putting my seatbelt on. "Great. Doctor here we come." Alexa says backing out of the long drive way.

After Alexa parks and gets Mackenzie's stroller out of the trunk, she places the car seat on the stroller and I start pushing her towards the door. Inside the office, I fill out everything I can on the paperwork.

"Mackenzie Grande?" The nurse says as we get up. As I take Mackenzie out of her stroller, Zach starts pushing it behind us.

"If you could please bring her into the examination room. Take all the clothes off. Leave the diaper on please." The doctor says as I take off Mackenzie's clothes. "Ok. I'm just gonna take her right outside in the hallway. Weigh her, see how tall she is and I'll be back in just a few." The nurse says as she carries Mackenzie out of the room.

When she's done the nurse comes back in and hands Mackenzie to me. "If you could keep her clothes off the doctor will be here soon." "Ok. Thanks." "Kenzie why aren't you crying anymore? Did you tire yourself out again?" I say as the doctor walks in.

"Hi. I'm Dr.Lee. The nurse tells me you've got a sick baby here today." "Yes." "Alright. Can you please tell me how you found out about it?" "Of course."

"Well earlier today my sister left with her boyfriend to go on tour. She's Ariana Grande. Do you know her?" "Yes of course. She comes here all the time." "Well they were going on tour early this morning. She said she already took care of Mackenzie so I just went back to sleep."

"When I woke up again somebody rung the doorbell so I went downstairs to answer it. It was Taylor Swift, his cousin so I let them talk and went to make some breakfast. Pancakes. While I made breakfast, Zach went upstairs to see if Alexa and Kenzie we're awake."

"When he came back down, they were both with him so I continued making breakfast. Since Ariana had already taken care of her, I didn't feed her. But while we were eating she started to get upset so I made her a bottle."

"She happily drank it and Alexa went to the store. Me and Zach went into the living room with Mackenzie. I placed her into her play pen and sat on the couch. We started watching Spongebob and I called Ariana to see how they were doing."

"Sean picked up because she was sleeping. We talked for a little and Ariana woke up so I talked to her but Mackenzie started crying so we had to cut the call short. I went to take care of Mackenzie but nothing was working."

"I tried feeding her, changing her diaper, and putting her to sleep. She was still crying. We called Alexa but she was already on her way. I took Kenzie out of her crib and sat in the rocking chair. Slowly rocking her back to sleep."

"Alexa got stuck in traffic but Kenzie was sleeping so we were fine. We thought she just needed a little help to get to sleep. We took her downstairs and put her in her portable crib. Me and Zach sat on the couch. Both tired."

"Zach fell asleep a little later and I eventually did too. When I woke up again Mackenzie was crying but Alexa was taking care of her so I went back to sleep. When I woke up again she was still crying and they were trying to calm her down."

"It was then I realized that she was sick." I say finally finished with my story. "Well judging from her temperature, she has a fever. It should be gone in a few days. Just make sure she has plenty of rest. You will probably here a lot of crying though."

"Thanks Dr.Lee." "No problem. That's my job. Tell Ariana I said hello." "Of course. Bye." I say getting Mackenzie dressed and placing her back into her stroller so she can sleep. Walking out to the car I slowly take Mackenzie out of her stroller so Alexa can put her car seat in the car.

Placing Mackenzie in her car seat I go around to the other side of the car and get in.

When we get back home, I take the sleeping Mackenzie out of the car and feed her before putting her in her crib to sleep.

I call Ariana to tell her about Mackenzie. "Hello?" "Hey Ariana." "Hey Taylor. How are you?" "Great. I have news though." "What?" "Mackenzie has a fever." "OMG. Really? How'd you know?" "We took her to the doctor. Dr.Lee said hello." "Cool. Well I gotta go. Bye " "Bye." I say hanging up the phone and going up to my room to get in bed with Zach.
