Surprise, Surprise

"Taylor, wake up. I know we all have a day off but Ariana says she and Sean have a very important announcement she wants us all to hear. Her and Sean's family are here. Alexa, Taylor, Zach, and Peyton also. "Skai whispers softly.

"Oh. Ok. Can you stay up here while I get dressed. I'm kinda scared to go down by myself." I admit.

"Sure. I'll just wait here." She says sitting on my bed.

I pick out a pink crop top with a white heart and some black leggings. After I'm dressed and ready, we hurry downstairs to the living room.

"Good morning, everyone." I say quietly.

"Hey, Taylor. Come sit." Ariana says, patting the spot next to her.

"So, umm what's the news?" I ask nervously.

"Well, obviously it's very important since I hurried you guys out here today. I expect you to pay me back for the ride on my private jet. Just kidding." Ariana jokes trying to lighten the mood.

"Ok, so, well, I'm... pregnant?" Ariana says, although it sounds more like a question.

"Ariana, that's great!" Everyone but Sean says together. Sean must have already known, obviously.

"Really? I thought you would be mad."

"Why? We support every decision you make."

"Well, it wasn't really a decision I made. It just sorta happened." She mumbles the last part.

"Ok, Ariana that's enough. There's kids in this room."

She laughs.

"Well, when did you find out?" Joan asks.

"Yesterday. I had to have enough time to fly you out here."

"How long have you guys been here?" I ask.

"Since about 2:00 am." Sean's mom, Myra says.

"Oh, well, um... I'm gonna go get breakfast. Bye everyone." I say, quickly hurrying from the awkward silence of the room. Seconds later, Skai and Peyton join me in the kitchen.

"Want some breakfast?" I ask them.

"Sure. How about pancakes?"

"Sounds great. Coming right up." I begin to fix the pancakes, unaware that Ariana ha walked into the room.

"Hey, Taylor." She says, scaring me.

"Ariana?! You scared me."

"Sorry." She replies, grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl in the island.

"So, umm... have you been to the doctor yet?" I ask, awkwardly.

"Actually, I was going today at 1:00. Do you, Skai, and Peyton wanna come with me? Sean is coming also." She asks, hopefully.

"Sure. Sounds fun."

"Great. Well it's settled. Be ready by 12:15." She says, taking a bite of her apple and walking out of the kitchen.

"Pancakes are ready." I say.

We all grab a plate and get some pancakes, before sitting at the dining room table.

"So, when do you guys go back to work?" I ask, trying to weigh down the seriousness in the room.

"Next Wednesday." Skai replies, bluntly.

"Cool. I go back next Thursday."

The rest of breakfast is eaten in awkward silence.

"Well, I'm gonna go get ready. Come on up when you get back. Don't worry about cleaning. Ariana hired a maid yesterday. She comes at 11:00." I say.

I walk upstairs, with Kenzie following.

"Hello, princess."

"Hi."

"Are you excited to be an aunt?"

"Yes. I will get to boss the new kid around. Like an adult." She replies, happily.

"Sorry to burst your bubbly Kenzie, but it will be a while before you can play around like that."

"Why?" She asks.

"Because, they will be to young to play. Don't worry you'll have your chance." I say, arriving in front of her room.

"Go ahead and play with your dolls. I have to go somewhere but I'll be back later. Be careful with you arm, Kenz." I say, planting a kiss on her forehead and walking in my room.

I take a shower, and put on some light makeup. For my outfit, I choose a black and white crop top with matching leggings. For shoes, I wear some black vans.

"Knock knock." Skai says.

"Come in." I reply.

"Hey." Peyton says.

"So, you ready to go?"

"Yep. It's 11:45. We have 30 minutes. What do you wanna do?" Skai asks.

"We can go play with Kenzie. When the baby is born, no one will be able to pay that much attention to her. I don't want her to feel ignored so let's play with her as much as possible."

"Thats a great idea. Come on."

We go to Kenzie's room and she's playing with her dollhouse.

"Hi Kenz. Having fun?"

"Yes." She replies, putting down her dolls.

"Can we play with you?"

"Yes. Come over here. I'll show you how."

"Ok." We crowd around her huge doll house.

"Briana and Crissy are napping." She says, pointing at 2 baby Barbie dolls who are laying in a crib, together.

"Their mom, Cris is making lunch for when they wake up." She says, pointing to a Barbie woman.

"Their dad, Brian is watching sports in his man cave, which is in the basement." She says, pointing to the Ken Barbie doll.

"Ok. What do you want us to do?"

"Watch the twins. They wake up sometimes and try to get out the crib."

"Ok." I realize that she is referring to herself.

25 Minutes Later

"Girls, let's go."

"Ok. Hold on. Bye Kenzie. I'll see you later." I get up, kiss her forehead, and leave the room.

After Skai and Peyton say their goodbyes to Kenzie, we go downstairs to meet Ariana and Sean at the limo.

"Hey." Sean says.

"Hi."

We all get in the limo and ride to the doctor in silence.

Doctor's Office

"Ariana, come on back."

"Ok. You guys stay back. We'll be out in a second."

Ariana and Sean follow Dr.Lee into the back and we sit and wait.

30 Minutes Later

"Hey guys, let's go."

"How was it?"

"Well, nothing really happened but they said the baby is healthy."

"Good. Let's go home."

We all get in the limo and go home.
