A/N The picture is what I think Taylor looks like but you can make her look however you want.

Me and Skai walk over to Peyton's house in the cold December weather. I put on my black pea coat and black scarf before we left because it's 43 degrees. When we get to Peyton's driveway, there is an unknown car. I think it's just a family member and brush it off.

I ring the doorbell and Peyton rushes to the door.

"Hey guys. What are you doing here?" She asks awkwardly, blocking the door so we can't see in.

"We wanted to come tell you about our tutoring session." Skai answers, smiling.

"Oh. Come in." She says, moving out of the way.

We walk into the living room where Austin Mahone is sitting on the couch.

"Oh. Hi. I didn't know Peyton had guests. I'm Austin. You must be Taylor and Skai. Peyton tells me a lot about you guys." He says, shaking our hands.

"Yea. That's us. So how long have you two known each other?" I say, noticing peyton isn't in the room anymore.

"About 2-3 months. We're a couple." He says, mumbling the last part.

"Peyton, get in here! NOW!" Skai yells.

"Yes? She says, walking slowly into the room.

"Why didn't you tell us about this?" Skai asks, crossing her arm's.

"Well, I kinda wanted to keep it a secret. You see, well I don't want to be rude or anything but, I'm at least 4 years older than both of you. There's some stuff I keep to myself and this is one of them." She says, apologetically.

"I understand Peyton. I do." I say.

"I don't. Peyton, we've been friends since Jessie started. 4 years ago. You were 12, I was 8. When we did all those things to become closer to each other, you promised you would tell me everything. I did too. I guess some promises really are meant to be broken." Skai says, walking out of the room, dejected.

"Skai, wait. I'm sorry." Peyton yells, about to run after her.

"Wait, Peyton I'll get her. Don't worry." I say before she runs out.

"Ok. Tell her I'm really sorry. There's just some stuff I can't tell other people." Peyton says, sitting with Austin.

"Ok. I will." I give her a quick hug, wave goodbye to Austin, and run after Skai.

When I get outside, I see Skai, closing the door to my house. I run across the street and open the door, hanging up my coat.

"Skai, where are you?" I call into the darkness of the house.

I wonder why it's so dark, but I brush the thoughts away as I look through the house for Skai. Eventually, I find her, crying, on my bed.

"Skai, please stop. Listen to me please." I say, sitting on my bed, next to her.

"What?" She says, looking up.

"Well, Peyton says she sorry, really sorry, and there's just some stuff she can't tell other people."

"I understand that, but we promised to always tell each other whenever we had a crush or something like that. I always told her, so I don't know why she can't tell me."

"Skai, you have to understand that she's older than you and she's becoming way more mature than she was when you first met. There's a lot of stuff older teenagers can't tell younger people and she's gonna be an adult soon."

"I'm pretty sure there's a lot of stuff adults in our life haven't told you. That's just how they work. She won't be able to tell you as much but you will still be best friends, even when she is an adult." I finish.
