The Interview

"Girls, wake up." Ariana sings, turning on the light.

"Ugh. Why?" Me and Skai reply.

"Because you have an interview to go to." She says, going to tend to the twins.

"Skai, when you're ready, you can use the guest bathroom. It's right next door. Well one of them is." I say into my pillow.

"Ok." She replies.

When we've finally decided to get up, we both take showers and brush our teeth. I do my makeup and hair and get dressed in a black shirt, some white tights, and my black mocassin boots.

When I'm dressed, I go downstairs with Skai and sit at the island. Skai is wearing a pink and yellow shirt, some white skinny jeans, and some black ugg boots.

"Ariana, where's my breakfast?"

"I don't know. Where is it?" She replies, walking out of the kitchen.

I decide to just have a bowl of cheerios while Skai has some yogurt.

When we're done eating, it's 9:45 so we just go watch TV until Kayla gets here.

10 minutes later there is a knock at the door. Me and Skai go to answer it and a teenage girl who I'm guessing is Kayla is standing at the door with a huge smile on her face. Me and Skai put on fake smiles because we're such good actors.

"Hi. I'm Kayla." She says a little bit too excitedly.

"I'm Taylor and this is Skai." I say, shaking her hand.

"So, umm where's Ariana?" She asks.

"Hold on. Let me get her. Skai can you take our guest into the living room? Thanks. Bye." I say, waiting until I'm out of view to run up the stairs.

"I bolt into Kenzie's room where Ariana and Sean are playing with her and the twins.

"Ariana, Kayla wants to see you." I say.

"Ok. Hold on." She says, giving Alyson to Sean who is also holding Kaylee.

"Ah come on. Triple duty?" He complains.

"Don't worry. I'll be right back." She says, kissing him on the cheek and hopping off the floor to join me in the hallway.

We walk down the stairs and into the living room where Kayla is chatting Skai's ear off. She gives us a look of relief when we walk in and I sit with her while Ariana greets Kayla.

"Nice to finally meet you in person, Kayla." She says as they shake hands

"You too, Ariana. I'm a big fan. But don't worry. That's not why I'm here." She says.

"Ok so. This is just an interview but I'm pretty sure you already got the job. So, Skai and Taylor have very busy schedules. I was able to fit you in because Taylor is on a break because of the twins and Skai has already filmed her parts in advance."

"Organized. I like it." Kayla says to Skai.

Skai smiles in her direction and looks at me with an expression on her face that tells me she doesn't wanna be here. I send her the same expression and we look back in Kayla's direction.

"Ok so, I can tutor you whatever days you like from 3:30-5:00. My school gets out at 2:40 so that will give me time to get here and when we're done, I will have time to do my homework and hang out with my friends."

"That works. So I'll see you next week?" Ariana asks.

"Yep." She replies as they get up to go to the door.

"Bye." Me and Skai both say, running up the stairs.

We go into Kenzie's room where Sean is trying hard to take care of the 3 little kids he was put in charge of.

"Skai, can you watch Kenzie for a second? I'll be right back."

"Sure." She says, sitting on the floor to play with her.

Me and Sean carry the twins into their nursery to feed them, burp them, change their diapers, and out them to sleep. When we're done, Sean goes downstairs where Ariana is and I go back into Kenzie's room.

"Taylor, using think it's time for her to take a nap. She's fighting the sleepiness." Skai admits, trying to rock Kenzie to sleep.

"Ok. Come on Kenzie. Let's get you in your crib." I say, taking Kenzie from Skai and putting her in the crib.

When she falls asleep, me and Skai walk downstairs into the living room where Ariana is asleep on Sean's lap.

"She didn't get much sleep last night." Sean whispers, rubbing her back.

"Oh. We're gonna go down to the theater. If you need my help, just call." I say, as Sean turns the TV on ESPN.

We walk downstairs and sit at the theater. Skai turns on the giant flatscreen and Bunk'd is already on.

"Well would you look at that?" Skai says, starting the episode over.

We watch that and 2 Scream Queens episode before going back upstairs.

"Finally. You've been down there for like 3 hours." Ariana says, placing tacos on the dining room table.

"We were watching Scream Queens." I reply as me and Skai sit at the table.

Ariana goes upstairs to get Sean and Kenzie before coming back down to eat.

When we're done, we clean up the kitchen and go into the living room after taking care of the twins. I end up falling asleep next to Skai who also fell asleep.
