Mackenzie's 2nd Birthday

3:00 pm

Today is Mackenzie's Birthday. She's turning 2 and I feel as though she doesn't know it. We invited most of the little famous children, including Mia Talerico, who is a guest star on Livin' Life Landri.

"Taylor, what's happening?" I knew it.

"Mackenzie, it's your second birthday. You're 2 today."

"Oh. Yay." She says.

It's been 3 months since the wedding and since me and Cameron got together.

"Taylor, Mackenzie, come over here." Ariana says.

She's talking to Mia.

"Mia wanted to say happy birthday to you. Go ahead Mimi."

"Happy birthday Mackenzie. Even though you're younger than me, we can be friends. My birthday is next week. You can come if you want." She says.

Kimi comes over and starts scratching her back in the grass.

"Hi puppy." Mia says, beginning down to pet her.

She barks and runs away, with Mia and Kenzie following behind her.

"Be careful, Kenz." Ariana says.

"Where's Cameron?"

"He's doing something for Decendants. He said he'll be here later."

"Oh."

"Where's Sean and the twins?"

"Over there, talking to Chris and Royalty."

I look at them while Sean holds the twins. We had a playground built for when the twins and Kenzie get older but it has baby swings, so they play on it from time to time.

"We should go get some food. I'm starving." Ariana says, putting her arm around my shoulder as we walk over to the food.

Of course, we both get spaghetti. (I don't know if i mentioned this, Ariana isn't a vegan in this story.)

"This is delicious." She says.

"Sean ordered it from some place."

"Well, we need it more often."

After we finish eating, Mackenzie blows out her candles and opens her presents. She said her favorite was the huge, more modern, Barbie Dream house. We eat cake, watch Decendants, then Cameron comes near the end of the movie.

8:00 pm

After everyone leaves, Cameron helps us clean up then we put the girls to bed.

"Hey, wanna go for a walk on the beach?" Cameron asks.

"Sure. Ariana I'll be back at 8:30."

I smile at her, who already looks like she's gonna fall asleep on Sean's shoulder.

She sends me a small, weak, smile. I go outside with Cameron and we go to the beach.

"It's a beautiful night. Look how many stars." Cameron says, looking up.

He lays down on the sand and I lay next to him.

"Thanks for taking me out here. It's beautiful."

"No problem. I love you."

"I love you too." I kiss him and we walk back home.

8:25 pm

We're back at home and Cameron just left.

"How was your date?" Sean whispers.

Ariana is asleep on his shoulder, like I thought.

"It wasn't really a date, but I had fun. You should probably take her upstairs. That's your job now."

"Good night." He says.

"Good night." I smile and go upstairs.

After I take a shower and brush my teeth, I get in bed and fall asleep.
