"Taylor, we're taking a break today. There will be no friends, no trips anywhere, and no famous life. We are just living like regular people today." Ariana says, waking me from a deep sleep.

"Ok. Why did you have to wake me up?" I ask grogily.

"Cause we're about to eat breakfast like a family." She replies, walking out of my room.

"Fine. I'll be down soon." I say, getting up to take a shower.

I take my shower and do my makeup before doing my hair and getting dressed in a yellow and pink shirt, some pink jeans, and black uggs.

I walk downstairs and sit at the dining table. The twins are by the wall in their portable crib and Kenzie is right next to them in her high chair eating oatmeal.

"Good morning Sean."

"Morning."

"Bon Appetit." Ariana says, walking into the dining room with a giant bowl of oatmeal.

"Thanks Ariana." Sean says, grabbing his bowl and a spoon.

"No problem." She says, doing the same thing.

I also grab a bowl and fill it to the top with oatmeal since I'm starving.

"Taylor, why don't you like Kayla? I think she's sweet." Ariana says.

"Who says I don't like her?" I reply.

"Well, the way you and Skai act around her, it just shows, you're trying to avoid her." She says dropping her spoon in the bowl and looking straight at me.

"Fine. I don't like her. I feel like she's using us to get to you. She's just too excited and happy around us. Especially you." I say, also dropping my spoon and meeting her gaze.

"Taylor, you can't just make assumptions about people. Maybe she's always like that. Maybe she isn't. It doesn't matter because it's none of our business." She says sternly.

"Well, I like to know who I'm around because the last time I didn't know who I was around, I got put up for adoption!" I yell, backing up and running to my room.

"Taylor, wait." Ariana yells although I ignore her.

I get to my room and slam the door, jumping onto my bed.

A few minutes later, Ariana knocks at the door.

"Go away."

She knocks again.

"Leave me alone."

She knocks again.

"What?!"

"Taylor, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. I just don't want you to try to prove anything that's wrong." She says through the door.

"Whatever." I reply into my pillow.

"Taylor please let me in." She says, still knocking on the door.

"Ariana, I don't want to talk. Go away." I say.

"Ok. I'm sorry." She says and I can tell she's about to cry.

Immediately, a pang of guilt hits me but I push it away, feeling tears in my own eyes, threatening to spill over.

The Next Morning

"Taylor, wake up please. Kayla's coming today." Sean says through my door and I know Ariana is trying to give me some space.

"K." I reply, taking my time to shower, do my hair and makeup, and get dressed.

I walk downstairs, my phone in hand and see Skai in the living room talking to Ariana. I go into the kitchen for breakfast before one of them see's me. I eat a bowl of cheerios and await the disturbing sound of the doorbell.

When I'm done eating, I clean my bowl and go into the living room, knowing I will have to face her eventually.

I go sit on the couch farthest away from them and get on my phone.

"Hi Taylor." Skai says, sitting next to me.

"Hi." I mutter back.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

"Nothing. Just not looking forward to being tutored." I answer, acting.

"Ok, well I just heard her chirpy voice outside so let's go." She says as we get up and walk casually past Ariana who is on her phone.

Skai answers the door and Kayla comes in, smiling as usual.

"Hi, girls. Where's Ariana?" She asks, looking around.

"None of your business. Shouldn't you be worried about us, not Ariana?"

"Oh if course. Let's get started." She says, trying to hide her sadness over the fact that she can't see Ariana.

"Ok, today we're going to learn how to do inequalities in one step equations. (A/N For anyone who isn't in 7th grade, this is actually what I learn. I don't know about other people.)

"Kayla, can you quiet your voice down please?" I ask, trying to be nice.

"That's Ms Kayla to you and yes, I can." She says.

"Your name is whatever I called you. You are not an adult. I choose to call you by your name, Kayla." I say, cocking my head and giving her a fake smile.

"You better calm your attitude or I will tell Ariana." She threatens.

"Tell her. I don't care. You are acting like a baby." I reply, fake smiling again.

"Ok. I will." She runs out of the room to find Ariana.

When she returns, Ariana is behind her, with her arm's crossed.

"Taylor, why are you being rude to Kayla?" She asks.

I am choosing to give her the silent treatment until I am not mad anymore.

"Taylor, answer me." She says, sternly.

More silence.

"Taylor Nicole Grande. Answer me right now." She says, getting even more mad by the second.

More silence.

"Sorry Kayla. She just won't talk. Just teach them anyway." Ariana says.

"Its fine." She replies as Ariana walks away.

When she leaves, I move to the very back of the room.

"Taylor, you know I like you guys to sit in the front." Kayla says, about to get started.

I ignore her and look at the whiteboard she is writing on.

She lets it go and starts teaching.

4 Hours Later

"Ok girls. Class dismissed." Kayla says, packing up her stuff.

I run out of the room with Skai close behind.

"Taylor, what was that?" She asks as we walk by the living room and up the stairs.

"Taylor, could you come here for a second?" Ariana asks from the loud nursery.

"What?" I say, walking in.

"Alright Taylor, I'm sorry ok? Can we just put this behind us so you can talk to me again? Honestly, I miss you." She says.

"Fine, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna be once to Kayla. In sorry too." I say, giving her a quick hug and helping with the twins.

"Do you and Skai wanna help me with lunch?"

"Sure." Skai whispers, walking in.

We walk downstairs and help with lunch before eating and going to Skai's house. Surprisingly, I have never been here before.

A/N Hey guys. The current day in the story is December 10 so I'm gonna start writing about Christmas in the next chapter. Good night.
