Finally a Teen

A/N This is the 100 part of this book! Suggested by NickyKRose, there will be more Skai and Zach drama in this chapter.

July 4: 3:00 pm

Today is my 13 birthday. We're having a huge party. It's because it's Independence Day and my birthday. There's going to be a lot of people there. All of our famous friends are invited, except Skai and Zach, even their families are invited.

"Taylor, the party is starting." Ariana yells.

I rush down the stairs and to the backyard. The party is gonna last a while. We're swimming and eating until sunset, where I'm gonna blow out the candles and open presents. Then we're gonna do fireworks and it should all be over at about 10:00 pm.

"Ariana, thank you for this party. This marks a year that I've been with you and I appreciate all you've done for me."

"No problem Taylor. You're my little sister." She gives me a side hug as we go outside.

I have on an American Flag bikini and sunglasses.

"Happy birthday Taylor." Kenzie and the twins yell, although it sounds more like the twins are saying "Py Birday Tay".

"Thanks guys. Do you want to help me go around and say thank you to everyone?"

"I wanna swim." Kenzie pouts.

"We can swim after we say thank you. I have to be in the pool with you because I don't want you to get hurt."

"Ok. Hold my hand?"

"Of course. Alyson, hold Kaylee's hand."

We walk around the huge backyard thanking every one for coming. Everybody from the neighborhood is here, so there will be no noise complaints, which is like 1/3 of the famous population and their families.

After we say thank you to a bunch of people, I go back over to the pool and put their floaties on. Peyton is laying on a pool chair with a magazine open on her lap, texting.

"Thanks for coming Peyton. I know you're busy a lot."

"No problem. You're my friend and I wouldn't miss it for the world."

I smile and get into the pool with the girls.

Sunset: 7:00 pm

"Taylor, time to blow out the candles." Ariana says.

I put down my plate and go to the cake with 13 candles in it. It's a huge cake with a picture of me, Ariana, Sean, the twins, Kenzie, and Kimi. We took it a couple weeks ago.

Every one sings happy birthday and I make a wish, blowing out the candles.

"WHHHHHOOOOOOOHHHHOOOOOO!" Everyone yells.

Sean cuts the cake and after everyone's done, I open my presents. My favorite is my new gold iPhone 6.

"Thank you everyone. Who's ready for fireworks?"

Everyone cheers and in the back of the crowd, I see Skai and Zach.

"Why are you guys here?"

"She made me." Zach says, lifting his hands as though he's innocent.

"Skai, why are you here?" I ask, my voice getting louder than intended.

"Taylor, calm down." She replies.

"Do not tell me to calm down. I will ask you one kore time, why are you here?"

"Well, I didn't want to be left out so I came to apologize."

"So, you came because you didn't want to be left out? That is the most selfish thing I have ever heard. Like seriously. You ruined my party because of what you wanted to do. You're the Worst. Friend. Ever. Don't ever talk to me again and I don't want to see you. Get out."

I run into the house and up the stairs to my room. She ruined everything.

"Taylor, are you ok?" Ariana says from my doorway

"I guess."

"Ok, we'll talk about this later. Do you want to come see the fireworks? There's a surprise for you in one of them. Skai and Zach are gone."

"Sure."

I go downstairs with Ariana and outside where everyone cheers at my arrival. We watch the fireworks and on the last one, it explodes with HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR in all caps.

"Thank you everyone for coming." I scream as everyone starts to leave.

We clean up the backyard then go sleep in the living room.
